Relaxed Apartments Haarlem

Excellent location, very close to the centre of Haarlem. The main advantage of the property is guaranteed secure parking. Very helpful staff.

Kitchen could be a bit bigger and better equipped, but it was fine for our short stay.

The person who we reported the heating problem to was helpful.

The heating wasn't working for 2 days, toilet seat was broken, the apartment was not very clean, the small kitchen didn't have much equipment and cooking made the whole place smell. We were not offered an alternative place or a reimbursement for the 2 days without heating even though we requested it repeatedly.

The apartment was stunning, we stayed here during particularly cold weather and it was as warm and comfortable as being at home. The property is decorated to very high standard and is absolutely immaculate. The kitchen was as good as brand new and the beds were very comfortable. The bathroom has a fantastic shower and his & her sinks and again is finished to a really high standard. We stayed with our toddler and requested a child’s cot for our stay, when we arrived, it was set up and had a lovely cartoon character bed sheet, I thought this was a fantastic touch for the property and we really appreciated it. The hosts were available on WhatsApp for the duration and they were really friendly and helpful and made the whole experience with them as easy as they possibly could have. The location is also perfect, everything is within walking distance including the train station if you wanted to travel to Amsterdam or anywhere else. We’re already looking at available dates to stay again next year. I cant rate this property highly enough, it’s fantastic.

The apartment was great! Very spacious and very nicely decorated. Its location is very convenient, as you have easy access to the city center, and it is conveniently located near public transportation stations. It was very quiet and peaceful, and the self-check-in instructions were easy to follow. The host was very nice and kept in contact with all the information we needed.

When we arrived the heating was broken and not working however it was fixed the next day.

The floor strip between the bathroom and kitchen area was not fixed down, according to previous reviews this was reported in 2023 There was no soap in the shower, according to previous reviews this was reported in 2023 The toilet seat was broken The rubbish bin under the sink was not clean, it was quite dirty. There was no sharp knives in the kitchen, not well appointed which the description said it was. The front door lock was temperamental and would make noises when the apartment next door was being opened.

Great location right on the canal and a short walk to the centre. It’s also an easy 10ish min walk to the train station to get to Amsterdam. We had a baby and they were able to provide a baby bed which was helpful. We stayed in one of the one bedroom suites and didn’t find the sofa bed too bad - I had no issue sleeping on it.

Some wear and tear on the walls/unit but nothing that we would be majorly bothered by.

Nice modern apartment in the city center. Convenient location to go to the major attractions near Haarlem and Amsterdam.
