Treetops ella

I loved my stay here, it was peaceful and in such a beautiful setting. Before I had even arrived, I had received a text from the hosts asking if I needed anything, and they easily organized me a tuktuk to & from the property. The stay is in walking distance to the nine-arch bridge and is only 5 mins tuktuk from the main town. The room was very comfortable and has everything you may want or need, it's a true home away from home. The breakfast was exceptional!

Wir können diese Unterkunft zu 100% weiterempfehlen. Die Lage ist (wenn man selbst ein Tuktuk hat) richtig toll. Das Zimmer war sehr sauber und das Frühstück einfach der Hammer. Die Gastgeber waren so nett und hilfsbereit. Wir kommen gerne wieder.

Uns hat alles gefallen :) Noch zur Info: man sollte selbst ein Tuktuk oder Moped haben, weil ein Auto kann hier nicht Straße entlang fahren.

Die Lage hat uns super gefallen, da wir ein bisschen abseits vom Trubel waren. Auch das Frühstück war super! Es hat jeden Tag etwas neues zum Essen gegeben.

Es sind super viele Insekten im Zimmer (wofür es aber ein Netz gibt) und das Bad hat ziemlich stark gestunken, da es immer feucht bleibt..

Location was lovely , a little out of the buzzing city of Ella,the owners will call you a tuk tuk to take you into town and then you can what's app the driver when you want to come back cost 1000 LKR , lovely fresh Sri lankan breakfast, spacious bathroom and comfy bed, mini bar, Owners are very helpful and you just message them if you need anything..

Every thing perfect

Treetops Ella is a bit out of town. But that’s a good thing, for two reasons: Ella is BUSY. You don’t want to be right in town (or at least I don’t). You want to visit, sure, but you want the rest of your time to be peaceful. The other thing is, by being just a little out of town you get to be pretty much in the jungle. You will sit and eat your breakfast (more of that in a minute) listening to wildlife (it’s loud, but deeply relaxing) and being surrounded by deep greenery. In any case you can still walk into town if you want (i usually did) and then take a tuk tuk back (1000 rupees - about £2.50). No problem. The guest house itself - I loved it. Clean, comfortable and, as I’ve said, peaceful. Everything you might want is in the room for you - a mini bar, a kettle with tea bags etc, bottled water and even a yoga mat. The owners were lovely - perfectly friendly without being intrusive. And then there was the breakfast…. Every day it was gorgeous. Photo-worthy even. And different Sri Lankan specialties every day. It was plentiful too - I never had a lunch in Ella! It was, at the time of writing, my favourite stay in Sri Lanka.

There was nothing that I didn’t like about the property, particularly if you don’t mind it being out of town and down a bit of a track (I didn’t - and tuk tuks can get there, no problem)

We stayed three nights at Treetops and really loved it. The property is a little outside Ella center, only a short tuktuk ride away though, which means it’s wonderfully peaceful, away from traffic and noise. The terrace and the view over the jungle and surrounding greenery are beautiful and make it a perfect place to relax. The owners are a lovely couple, very friendly, respectful and always ready to help. The room is thoughtfully equipped with lots of little extras that make your stay more comfortable, such as games, books, yoga mats, an umbrella, and even a lantern for early morning hikes. The minibar is well stocked and fairly priced. Breakfast is homemade, served on the terrace, and was always peaceful and really delicious. We would definitely recommend this place for anyone staying in Ella.

I due host erano una coppia molto carina, gentile e disponibile ad aiutarci con ogni richiesta. Penso mi ricorderò ancora per tanto tempo la loro colazione incredibile, da sola valeva il soggiorno:) l ultima notte, dato che partivamo molto presto la mattina seguente, ci hanno preparato una box in modo che potessimo fare colazione in viaggio. Ogni volta che avevamo bisogno, ci organizzavano il tragitto in tuc tuc (L ultimo tratto di strada non è percorribile in auto) assicurandosi che nel caso non potessero occuparsene personalmente gli autisti non ci richiedessero tariffe troppo alte. La struttura è molto caratteristica, circondata dalla giungla anche se vicinissima a Ella.
