John’s place was absolutely perfect for our stay in General luna. The room was spacious and super clean, and the bathroom was equally nice. The location is in the town centre as opposed to the tourist area, which we really liked but you do need to bike/tuktuk to get into the Cloud 9 surf area. We still could walk to cool cafes and restaurants. John was so helpful and kind- we thought he was a legend. Thanks so much for being an incredible host!

ARAW is different. It’s special. I don’t usually leave reviews, but this place deserves it. From the second I stepped into ARAW, I felt like I finally exhaled. There’s this calm, grounding energy in the air that just hits you like the chaos of the world stops the moment you walk through the door. The design is beautiful, yes earthy, tropical, minimalist in the best way but it’s more than that. You can feel that this place was built with intention. Every corner, every piece of furniture, every small detail has soul. It doesn’t feel like a business. It feels like someone poured their heart into creating a space that makes people feel alive again. The rooms are peaceful and stunning, the beds are insanely comfortable, and the whole property feels like a private sanctuary. Quiet. Clean. Safe. Surrounded by nature, with that perfect island breeze and golden sunlight. You wake up and you just feel good. But what really makes ARAW unforgettable is the vibe the people behind it. They’re real. They care. It’s not fake hospitality. It’s not surface-level service. You feel seen, respected, and completely free to be yourself. Whether you’re here to reset, work remotely, surf, or just breathe, this place gives you exactly what you didn’t know you needed. I stayed at a few other spots before this, and honestly nothing compares. If you’re coming to Siargao and want something meaningful, not just a bed to crash in book ARAW. You won’t just stay here… you’ll remember it. I’ll 100% be back. Probably more than once.

Everything is perfect

Araw is a cute place in a good location in General Luna- not too loud, but can walk to a lot of restaurants. The place is absolutely spotless! And it has a cute living room with a TV with Netflix. Nadine was amazing. I was in a pinch with none of the ATMs working in town and she was able to help find me a way to get cash. I am super grateful to her. She was also very helpful with recommendations (like surfing lessons) around town and around the island. I cannot thank her enough! Jenny was very helpful as well. Great value for the price. Highly recommend Araw Boutique!
