Araw Boutique

The location is close to the city but far enough away to get a quiet relaxing nights rest. The owner was extremely friendly. He explained things to do in the area offered an excellent tattoo artist to us and was overall very welcoming and seemed to really care about his guests. The facilities are very clean and well kept.

La habitación es muy espaciosa, no tiene baño, pero el baño compartido esta justo delante de la habitación y es bastante grande. El agua de la ducha sale a presión cosa que es de agradecer.

estaría bien que te dejaran regular el airea condicionado de la habitación puesto que en ocasiones estaba muy fuerte para nuestro gusto. lo puede apagar y encender tu pero no puedes controlar la intensidad.

All was really clean and near from general luna center. Jon was really nice and help us eith everything we need.

Wir hatte einen rundum perfekten Aufenthalt! Das Zimmer sowie die gesamte Unterkunft haben meine Erwartungen deutlich übertroffen. Alles ist äußerst sauber, gepflegt und in einer angenehm ruhigen Lage – ideal zum Entspannen und trotzdem nicht weit entfernt vom Zentrum.. Ein besonderes Highlight ist der Gastgeber John Er ist nicht nur herzlich und zuvorkommend, sondern auch jederzeit ansprechbar und hilfsbereit – egal ob es um die Buchung von Ausflügen, die Organisation von Shuttles oder das Mieten eines Rollers geht. Hinzu kommt das unschlagbare Preis-Leistungs-Verhältnis, das diese Unterkunft zu einem echten Geheimtipp macht. Ich kann einen Aufenthalt hier uneingeschränkt empfehlen und komme definitiv wieder!

Araw Boutique was everything we wished for. After spending some time looking for a nice and affordable spot in General Luna we luckily came across this place. Filtering out all the hostels and expensive villa’s we were determined to find a place where we could connect with other travelers while also maintaining a sense of privacy, and not having to worry about our belongings. Well I can safely tell you: all these demands were met, and more. First and foremost: John is a G, and a fantastic host. He’s always on top of things. Like really, you can tell he’s very passionate about his business. Despite making sure the shared living room and bathrooms stay clean, he always did his best to provide us with tips and tricks to navigate the island. In our case that meant pointing us to nice spots to eat brunch (they even offered discounts when told we were Araw guests sometimes), amazing spots to take photo’s and even a ride up to our next homestay all the way on the other side of the island. He also really helped us out by exchanging our money for Pesos at a better rate than the ATM’s. Overall: John provides bonus services that no other host I’ve encountered ever thought of. He works tightly with the locals around him, is chill about storing your baggage for reasonable times, and is simply a fun guy to chat with! His house rules are easy to follow and allow for everyone to have a similarly great experience, In the end we spended two evenings going out and dining with other couples staying at Araw, so despite having enough privacy we made new connections aswell! So if you’re planning to be close to all the surfing hotspots, I can’t recommend Araw Boutique enough! See you next time John!

We had an amazing stay at John’s place, he’s very friendly and helpful with all we need. The room is very comfortable, which was amazing in raining days to stay all long, also the tv room with Netflix was a great bonus. The location is walkable to the center but if you don’t want to walk John’s will help you to rent a scooter.
