Big size room. Was upgraded to a room with kitchenette.

Neighbors' barking dogs!!! Wish the owners would have a chat with the dog owners to quiet them down. These are domestic dogs on leaches! Not errant dogs.

The room was fine

No warm water most of the time and had to contact the desk multiple times

My room was large. The pool area was nice. The staff was friendly.

Very spacious place, and it is a good location. Staff is very kind, and we could almost always find a parking spot just next to the hotel. The garden has a calm vibe, loved the big tree with lots of chirping birds. Big TV with Netflix and a nespresso coffee machine.

The pool was gross and needed cleaning and maintenance. It was a real disappointment to see it like that. In pictures, everything looks much more luxurious than in real life. We regularly got "freshly changed" stained bedsheets and stained towels. Bed mattress is waaay to soft, causes backpain. There was no fully warm water, and the lukewarm only lasted for 5 minutes or so.

Excellent location, excellent service & excellent room & everything was smooth. Cleaned our room everyday. We loved our stay!

Everything was perfect! I think it’s the best property in Bacalar! Beautiful hotel, rooms and the surroundings, very clean and comfortable and safe! The staff is super nice & friendly Walkable to everything!

The water didnt work untill say 8-9 am.. Pool water was not very clean

Location was within a few blocks, short walk to the lake and to the town plaza/zocalo where you will find many restaurants, street vendors, souvenir shops and bars, also the San Felipe Fort is there by the plaza. The hotel is beautiful and the employees were very helpful and friendly. The room is just beautiful, has beautiful ambient lighting, black out curtains, hot water shower, a modern bathroom, a nestle pod coffee maker (not kcups). They give you 2 pods a day and 2 bottles of water a day. The room has all you need for a short stay, minus a microwave, but I wouldn't have needed it anyway. I had a ground level room with a terrace/seating area viewing the pool area and It was very peaceful. I don't know if there is an elevator but it looked like a lot of steps to the upper floors.

(Not at all the hotel's fault) but,...The neighbors (a private home) were playing loud music till about 4am one of the nights (I don't know what time I actually fell asleep, with pillows over my ears) . It was coming through multiple walls so it must've been a big speaker/sound system. Luckily it was only one night...but it's probably something this neighbor regularly does when drinking. They (the neighbors) also have a turkey or two which I could hear gobble gobbling once in a while, but that didn't bother me at all.

Good location making it easy to walk anywhere needed. Staff very nice and helpful. Rooms are large very well equipped and comfortable.

My only complaint would be the lack of hot water. After coming out of the heat a cold shower is welcome but not so much in the mornings.
