The location is great, within walking distance of many of the sights. My room had a wonderful view over the lake with a balcony, perfect. The staff were so helpful. I would recommend staying here.

"Let down by the details"

Staff were very courteous and attentive.

Our room was a nice concept but was let down by poor execution/maintenance e.g. Shower sprayed more water upwards than down, jacuzzi was ill fitted and not working, parcel tape was used to secure fairy lights cable, very stiff faucets/taps. The room was probably nice when it was first opened but now doesn't live up to expectations i.e. It needs/deserves some TLC.

Proximity to City Palace Bagore Ki Haveli Museum. Complimentary afternoon tea and biscuits/cake. Having a pool. Fridge and safety deposit box in the room.

No street lights down access alleh on the evening we arrived. Problems with the hot water supply which we reported each day and got conflicting guidance/ response. Room lacked character (soulless) and we had problems with the door out to the balcony. We have stayed in homestays and havelis which were more comfortable so we're disappointed as we had booked a hotel in Udaipur to relax more.

"Exceptional"

Beautiful location on the lake, staff were exceptional and couldn't do enough for you without being intrusive. Views from pool and our room were stunning, I spent hours at the hottest part of the day sat on the balcony watching the bird life and humans on the lake as in wasn't in the sun so just perfect. Food in the restaurant was lovely and a good verity at very reasonable prices.

Shower was temperamental and would go scortching hot if you were not very careful.

Great staff, great location, nice pool with a great view. Rooms are very nice for a place like Udaipur. Staff was extremely helpful and went out of their way to make sure I arrived and left safely.

Expect climbing to some of the rooms, if it's not your thing then take into consideration.
