Very clean, no weird smells, bathroom was huge and very nice, great location, quiet but close to everything

We’re a couple stay in 302 (Huyen T. T. Vo) for two nights 30 and 31th of July. Our stay is good, nothing out of the ordinary. Everything here is self-service and I learnt that it’s normal here in Japan. The checkin process is easy and smooth to us. Quiet, stay away from busy neighbourhood but having necessary shop and things nearby so it’s convenient. There’s a washing machine and dryer so we could do the laundry with reasonable price. It’s also easy to get to the hotel by bus from Kyoto Station. For us the stay is worth the money we spent.

The cleaning staff greeted us in English when we first arrived, so I felt confident if I had any trouble I could communicate with them. The room itself was clean and as described. The instructions for checking in and out were also easy to follow and as described. There were plenty of towels, wash rags, razors, etc. to take from as needed in the front hall.

We couldn't seem to get the hot water to work in the bathroom. Also, some parts of the wood desk were peeling at the bottom. Also, it would have been nice to have someone at the front desk occasionally in case some issue came up and we needed help.

Was more like an AirBnB to me but that worked for us. Easy to access and instructions were great. Staff was very responsive online.

Very clean and functional

Absolutely no staff to communicate. It was lucky we could meet cleaning staff so we can leave our luggage but otherwise we were stuck in waiting for someone to come.

Really surprised with this accommodation, the room is big for japanese standards, we had a lot of space. Huge closet available, huge desk, bathroom was great size also. The space was very clean and organized, check in was easy and all the amenities available were great. Location is also great, bus stop almost in front of the hotel. I highly recommend this place.

We had a hard time to find it with the location that was sent to us. Maybe make sure the location on google maps is accurate.

Smooth checkin, clean, fairly large room, plenty of amenities.

No water station at the property. The location is okay but it takes forever to get there from Gion district with the bus, so keep that in mind.
