Due to Coronavirus (COVID-19), this property is taking steps to help protect the safety of guests and staff. Certain services and amenities may be reduced or unavailable as a result. Payment before arrival via bank transfer is required. The property will contact you after you book to provide instructions. A damage deposit of USD 400 is required. The host charges this 7 days before arrival. This will be collected by credit card. You should be reimbursed within 7 days of check-out. Your deposit will be refunded in full via credit card, subject to an inspection of the property. After confirmation, Sonder will reach out to guests through a secure link to gather some information regarding the guests stay. Some of the bedrooms have a wall that does not extend completely to the ceiling.

We stayed in a four bedroom three bath. This place was huge in a good location. Gave us the privacy that we wanted having our own separate bedrooms. We love the rooftop deck the kids played ping pong up there, it's a great lounge place. I loved the kitchen and the modern look of this place. Each individual bedroom had separate air conditioners to control the temperature which was very nice. I will definitely book this place again. Can't complain had its own washer and dryer and dishwasher. There was so many food places to walk around to which was nice as well.

You could hear the street noise a little bit but wasn't a problem for us because we wanted to be right in the action of downtown so that was expected choosing the location we did.

"Not worth the hassle"

There is no breakfast. A couple of packets of tea and coffee don't count, do they?

Beds are full-size, not even queen-size, so really small for two adults and mattresses are pretty slim. They are more comfortable than they look, but still fall short. The kitchen/dining/living room is cute, but not very functional. Both the 3- and 4-bedroom rooms had 2 chairs and 4 stools. There wasn't much to do there. The common areas were also a bit tired. The elevators were a problem: slow, you had to call both to hope to get one in some reasonable time. The worst experience was the check-in. I had booked 2 rooms. The app was absolutely useless and buggy, throwing me into infinite loops of asking me to sign in after I had just successfully signed in. Eventually after much coaxing, I got the codes for one of the rooms, but there was no way to get the codes for the other. I chatted with the customer service (no phone#) who asked me to send a screenshot of the message I was getting in the app. So, of course, the chat was lost after I tried to do that and I got into another infinite sign-in loop. After a few more attempts and chats, which were long and laborious, she asked internally for the codes of the second room and texted them in the app. Only that they were wrong. The security person downstairs redirected me to the app... By good fortune, a cleaner was still there and he gave me his code (called it a "backup" code; yeah, sure!) and we managed to get into the second apt. This whole process took more than 2 hours. The whole communication is a joke. I mean, the idea that they allow you to get the codes only 24 hours before you check-in etc and the secrecy and hoops you have to go through to get them is stupidity in itself.

It was cute and clean. It had all of the amenities. It was like a studio apartment, and the location to where I needed to be was close. It was perfect!

We love staying at Sonder properties. The apartment has a full kitchen with everything you need, the shower is so refreshing, and the in-room washer/dryer is super handy when traveling.

"NEVER AGAIN!"

Before booking a Sonder apartment I would urge anybody to look elsewhere first. The level of cleanliness was disgraceful, not just a little dust here and there but weeks/months of dust and grime on surfaces and fittings ( pictures available). A request to have the apartment cleaned was met with a $200 requirement. The apartment was much too small for four adults, which it was described as suitable for. Some of the furniture was tired and in desperate need of replacement, in fact the whole apartment needed lots of TLC. Since our stay the description now includes the”half wall” for one of the bedrooms which leaves little chance of privacy. So as the title says. Never again!

"Do not waste your time or money"

Disappointing Stay – Not Worth the Price We had a very average experience at Sonder Plymouth and were overall disappointed, especially considering we spent over $1,000 for a two-night stay. There is no staff onsite, which made check-in difficult—we had issues just gaining access to the building. The lobby had visible water leaks, and the elevator is extremely outdated, feeling more like a maintenance lift than something suited for guests. The first-floor bathroom was disgusting, with a strong sewage smell and clear signs of neglect. Our two-bedroom unit was very small, and the furniture was far too bulky for the space. There were damages on the walls, missing cabinet doors, and an overall lack of upkeep. The hallways were also in poor condition, adding to the rundown feeling of the entire building. To make matters worse, we had multiple issues with the Sonder app, which is supposed to act as the main method of communication and control for your stay. We honestly wish we could get our money back. For the price, this was absolutely not worth it.

The location is great. So close to grant park. Or an easy train ride to many other parts of the city.

We were there at an off time when it got cold after it had been warm for some time and the heat wouldn’t turn on. As they mention after you book, the whole veiling is either on heat or AC and it wasn’t very reliable. Many times we came back to the apartment and it was freezing cold. The staff dropped off one space heater but it didn’t really do much since there are three bedrooms
