Hotel Jaiba Mahahual - Adults Only

The decoration is really cool, the room is nice and equipped, there is a good swimming pool and it is really quiet!! The breakfast is really good and they gave us free bananas all day long!

We felt cheated by the front desk attendant Diana, who supposedly gave us an upgrade to a pool view room pretending that we wouldn't have neighbours next door, but the minute we paid for it she immediately came with other noisy guests right next to us, even though there were loads of other empty rooms all over! Also one has to walk almost 3 km in order to go to the beach, it's a long walk; while there are other options in town for cheaper prices!!

The place had a homely feel to it and the staff was super service minded and friendly. Nice terrace outside the room and a good rooftop area. The room was clean and beautifully decorated. Also with good ac and shower. Breakfast was lovely (fresh fruit and yoghurt). Would definetly stay here again.

Not the best location but with bikes or a car you can easily get around. The pool area hasn't got much room around it to hang out, only some tables and hammocks that can be quite hard to get in.

The staff is great. She gave us a choice of rooms to accommodate our preferences. Her suggestion for a place for dinner was very good. The property and the room was clean and well kept. The beds were very comfortable and the fruit supplied for morning was on time and tasty. The shower was hot and great water pressure - best of our trip! We watched the sunset from the 4th floor terrace and ate breakfast up there as well. The hotel is a bit out of town - easy to find and quieter - and less than 5 minutes away.

The hotel was beautifully decorated, great little touches and super nice vibes. The pool area and the balcony are lovely, it’s a bit far away from the busy part of town but close enough to cycle into the beach. Perfect to relax! The staff are also lovely and super helpful.

We liked a lot the style of this family owned hotel, managed by four sisters. Rooms are decorated and designed with many nice details which give this hotel a personal style. Attentive and helpful staff, water and coffee at your disposal, and refillable bottles for liquids (water, soap) to avoid plastic , fridge in the room to keep Drinks and food cool if you wish - just to mention a few more aspects we appreciated. We had a terrasse with chairs und table in front of our room that we could use.

The hotel is a bit outside of Mahahual, hence you better go there by car if you want to go to Mahahual in the evening. But they offer to bring retaurant food to the hotel as well.

The adults only concept is awesome, they also care about the environment as they only use glass containers to avoid paper and plastic waste, we loved the facilities. And the owners are super helpful and awesome. Well be back for sure. Two thumbs up 👍👍
