Lovely professional service. Exceptional rooms

My wife and I recently stayed at Rydges Southbank for our wedding anniversary and we thoroughly enjoyed our stay. I’ve been a regular guest for years for its comfort and convenient location, but this was the best stay yet. Declan and the staff made sure it was a memorable experience as we were upgraded to a king suite which surpassed my expectations. The staff did a great job making sure we had a memorable experience for a special occasion. I highly recommend staying at Rydges Southbank when in Brisbane.

Very friendly welcome, room clean, bed extremely comfortable with lovely linen. We had a room with a king bed and the room was very spacious. I enjoyed the coffee and delicious breakfast from the restaurant next to the lobby. The young man making the coffee was very friendly and the waiter who served me breakfast was very happy and welcoming. The hotel is in the middle of South Bank close to the river, pool and many restaurants. The convention centre is next to the hotel. I enjoyed Rydges this time and in Sydney airport in June. I was also asked by a manager how I liked my stay which was very nice. Lovely stay and recommend this hotel.

Great, no fuss hotel, in excellent location on Southbank. On first impressions, the foyer is underwhelming as was the restaurant adjacent to the lobby. However, the rooms were comfortable and well furnished. The gym was smallish but had good mix of equipment. There was even a small area to do mat work type exercises. Rooms were quiet and we slept well. There is an abundance of restaurants within walking distance of the hotel. Good choice for Southbank!

Good food and nice walk closeby

The Hotel is very clean and has comfortable beds. I like to stay here because the prices were affordable, and I was able to walk everywhere because it was very close to shopping and food areas. Also, I was able to walk near the river and cross the bridge to the other side, and enjoy the views from the top of another hotel.

We came here for a Conference (at the Brisbane Conference Centre) and stayed longer for a holiday. We purposely had a king suite – well worth the extra space. Loved being able to be so comfortable and well care for by the team. They were very friendly and helpful with questions about Brisbane. Loved the morning buffet breakfast. Loved being so close to the river, local restaurants and museums. When we come back to Brisbane, we will return to Rydges South Bank.

It was very walkable and attached to all the major transportation types you could ask for. This allowed my wife and I a lot of freedom of movement for dining, exploration of the city and countryside, and basically to have a wonderful time. The wonderful breakfasts kicked off our day great!

From the moment we arrived, the service at the Rydges Hotel was nothing short of outstanding. A huge thank you to Declan and the entire team for making our stay truly unforgettable. On very short notice, they went above and beyond to arrange beautiful surprises in our room to celebrate both our babymoon and anniversary. The attention to detail, thoughtfulness, and genuine care made us feel so welcomed and special. The room was immaculate, the atmosphere warm and inviting, and every interaction with staff was friendly and professional. We left feeling refreshed, happy, and incredibly grateful. We couldn’t recommend the Rydges Hotel more highly – whether you’re celebrating a special occasion or simply want a memorable getaway, this is the place to be. We’ll definitely be back!
