Facility was clean the breakfast bar nice. The AC in Rm 200 did not get cool enough. The address to the hotel on Broadway St takes you to an empty lot- not fun late at night. The $50 deposit process should have been automatically applied when I presigned for the rm, especially since the presign process was supposed to speed up check-in process. Front desk staff did not speak clearly and did not smile once at check-in or in the morning at checkout, although he did say Good morning which I appreciated.

Mattress was lumpy and needs to be replaced. Door did not latch when it closed, you had to push it to latch, security problem. TV remote buttons worked occasionally.
Front desk staff was amazing. Very helpful guiding us to a great place to eat dinner. Not as happy about the pool being closed.

The door labeled exit would not open as should. We were told to exit thru the stairwell (meaning exit through two more doors). The stairwell was being renovated and there was drywall nearly blocking that exit. We could use this exit to enter, but the carpet was also loose resulting in a tripping hazard. Also, we reserved this property because of the pool. It was not open, yet was not transparent about that amenity on booking. The hot water in the breakfast room came out dingy brown, not clear. The juice was watered down. The extra lock on the door in our room was broken. There is dry cement in the hallway. Probably one of the worst locations we’ve reserved thru booking.
