Ramada Plaza by Wyndham Charlotte South End Airport

This is the first time I’ve ever written a review on a hotel. I checked in went to use my bathroom & immediately saw roaches crawling around on the toilet, bathtub & sink. Also…at the top of the mirror(yes the top) there was an old toothbrush just sitting there. Also…there was urine stains on the seat of the toilet & the sink had a bad leak at the bottom causing water to run on the floor. The room counters also had roaches crawling around & yes…even the bed. I called the front desk & politely let them know. I did understand there were no rooms left so I couldn’t switch & they did say they were sorry. I ended up staying the night as best as possible & woke up & left much earlier than normal(6am). I also spoke to the young lady as the desk again before I left. She was nice & I let her know to PLEASE do not let anyone else check in that room & go through the same thing as a courtesy. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone even if you are desperate.

Property needs to be upgraded. Very old.

We were late due to travel issues and attempted to check in late. Was advised that due to “technical issues” we could not check in. After traveling for a couple hours, an exception could have been made. Front desk was not courteous and Im sure if she were in the same predicament, she would have walked someone to be kind to her

For a Ramadan Inn, it was much lower standard than I expected. No food options close by except an unhealthy IHOP. The place was run down. The bed lines were clean but there was a musty smell in the air

The air conditioner didn't work in my first room, but they were quick to find me a new room.

It was a room that had a bed, that's all I can say about that.

Well , it’s close to the airport which is good plus they offer complimentary coffee or tea or water and they have free shuttle bus back to the airport which was truly appreciated but I saw three cockroaches, one big on the mid table with lamp and two others on the tub .

Ashley was super nice and did her best to help. Unfortunately the rooms are very old and we found some bugs. I am not sure what kind, but it did not make us feel comfortable.

I had a delaying flight, and missed late check in time. However, I notified a staff about the situation, they didn’t respond to my messages. The hotel manager denied the refund even though I didn’t even get to stay at the property. I didn’t want to cancel the reservation, but they said there’s no room available for me! Anyhow, thanks to Expedia supervisor who solved the problem.

Hotel was good.
