Deplorable! Checked in to our room. Explosive diarrhea and vomit all over the toilet and bed left half made and / or slept in. Building is severely dilapidated, looks more like a place to do drugs and pick up a STD. I took my family to another hotel and requester a refund. I was denied from the hotel management through the booking company Expedia. I pre-booked and prepaid in good faith in expectation of a clean room. Shame on the management for completely failing on their end and making me pay for it!

When booked a (3) night stay from 5/23/25 - 5/26/25. We traveled from Texas for a family wedding. We arrived late, checking in around 12:00am. First room had a strong odor urine, so we asked for another room. The second room had a stench that we could not pinpoint, dirty carpet, stained in multiple areas, dirty torn bedding and sheets with bugs, and tub that clogged whether trying to shower or bathe. We slept in our clothes in top of the beds because it was so late and we had been on the rode all day but we checked out the very next morning and had to rebook our stay at a different hotel. We are seeking refund for the (2) nights we did not stay there. I would never recommend this location for a stay regardless of the length of time.

"RAT"

About 8 PM, a very large, very real RAT ran across the floor in my room number 127 and apparently into a hole for a plumbing access panel that was knocked out. This was not a mouse, this was a RAT. My room was changed, but no offer was made to compensate me for the totally unacceptable room. And, this was after I had to argue for a first floor room because of my handicap and a broken elevator. Plus, I had made this reservation with the request five months before arrival. Most guests were required to walk up stairs to the second or third floor. The next morning breakfast was marginal stocked across the board with no bread for toast in the perfectly good toaster. When I told the woman working in the kitchen that the eggs and sausage were all almost gone, she took a very non-caring attitude toward that information.

This location is HORRIBLE!!!! The worst experience that I’ve had. Was which to two rooms. 1st room the door would not lock once I tried to leave, the television didn’t work. The bathroom was dirty. Ok the second room, television still didn’t work, the toilet wouldn’t flush. The restroom was still dirty. There was bugs running throughout the room & there was dead bugs on the floor. This was the most horrific experience I’ve had in all my time of visiting New Orleans. The staff at the front desk was so nice. I know & understand that it wasn’t their fault. But as for booking with them or through Expedia!! It will be a no + plus. I absolutely didn’t not appreciate this reservation. I’m still itching, I checked out early Sunday morning. They truly make it look & sound good, but the reality is, this hotel is TRASH!!!!!!!!!
