Carpets stained, a bit worn

My stay was good. Location is amazing and staff is friendly. Price is good. But we aware, it is a beach motel. Here are a few other things, not game changers for me but nice to know. This is the only IHG property I have ever stayed at that did not have breakfast. They offer coffee coupons to members but it's not convenient (on the 3rd floor) and coffee is mediocre at best. The rooms are fine, big and have a table and chairs fridge and microwave. But the bed frames are horrible, almost cut my leg on the frame that stuck out! They make ALOT of noise. The bathroom need alot of work. Chair height toilets should be standard. Its the beach so I except that there will be rust but keep up with the maintenance and paint! The water pipes are LOUD and shudder a good bit. The carpet was clean and being right off the beach that says alot, the rest of the room was clean as well. It just looks like there have been cheaper items used so no amount of cleaning is going to help if you use cheap stuff. Example, the toilet holder is "chrome" the shine has come off so it's clean but look horrible. In such a humid environment spending on the front will help things last. Again, will I stay here yes but be aware.

We come to Jekyll Island every year and always stay at the Holiday Inn. The view is beautiful. The rooms are clean and spacious. The staff are all wonderful - helpful, accommodating and friendly. The onsite Coastal Grill is a great place for drinks or dinner. It is always a relaxing and enjoyable experience.

Enjoyed my stay @ Jekyll Island Holiday Inn Resort. Check in was easy and everyone was very friendly & professional. I was traveling with my dog and really enjoyed the walking trails. Enjoyed the buffet breakfast & the pool. Check out Driftwood Beach. Room was clean & comfortable.

Price 600 per night for a family suite during peak season. Room was dated. Not worth it

We traveled to the Holiday Inn Resort for a Jr. Beta Summit. The staff was amazing with our students. Baeisha went above and beyond to make them feel included and welcomed.
