The location was great, a short walk to the centre of Kandy but away from the chaos and liveliness. The staff were very attentive and amazingly helpful, they couldn't do enough for us. The Sri Lankan breakfast was a treat and the western style breakfast was equally as good. Fresh fruit platters, plenty of tea. Had an evening meal around the large table at the heart of the bungalow, really good quality and excellent value for money. A Sri Lankan wedding happened on one of the days we were there, a delight to see the traditional costumes and dancers. We had use of the pool in the adjacent property, escorted over the road by the Castle Hill team. Taxi for onward travel arranged too. All fantastic and good value for money. Special mention to Akeela, apologies if I'm spelling that incorrectly. Service above and beyond, thank you.

Bellissima dimora storica, affascinanti camere molto ampie e in stile retró. Posizione splendida con vista sul lago e sul tempio di Kandy. In pochi minuti a piedi sei sul lago e in centro. Servizio impeccabile da parte di uno staff gentile e premuroso. Bellissimo giardino dove si può fare colazione.

Le stanze ampissime (la tripla) sono parte di una villa meravigliosa immersa in un giardino curatissimo, con una vista splendida sul lago. Ottima colazione. Per raggiungere il centro puoi prendere un tuc tuc.

Un tuffo nel passato con questo meraviglioso boutique hotel, ricavato da una villa coloniale inglese dei primi del Novecento. Pochissime stanze e un' atmosfera raccolta. Sembra veramente di entrare in una casa e di vivere un' esperienza unica. I mobili sono originali dell' epoca degli anni Sessanta. La vista si Kandy e il giardino sono magnifici.

La struttura avrebbe bisogno di una rinfrescata. L'umidità si sente soprattutto nei bagni.
