Hilton Sandestin Beach Golf Resort & Spa

I really enjoyed the facility and especially appreciated the convenient beach access. Most of the staff were friendly and accommodating, which added to the overall experience. I also enjoyed both the indoor and outdoor jacuzzis, as well as the beach setup. The only drawback was that I would have liked the option to keep the beach setup for a longer period.

Some members of the staff were not as friendly or accommodating as expected. While relaxing on the deck, we were frequently overlooked, even as guests nearby were being attended to. However, I do want to note that the service on the beach the following day met expectations. I would have appreciated more consistent attention throughout our stay.

Our room was hot. The air wasn’t working after several calls from 6pm to 10pm someone finally came and checked it about 11:00 that night. It was still hot throughout the night. Didn’t cool off till 5 that next morning.

The Staff is amazing! Justin at check in, Danielle with drink services at the beach, the welcome text was also appreciated. The property is clean, beautiful and exactly like the pictures.

This property is LOUD! Loading/Unloading trucks start at 5:30am. This ruins that coffee with sunrise- even from the 15th floor. Make sure your Beach view isn't also coupled with a parking lot view. I'd also check the events booked. There was a beautiful wedding that started at 9:30am and wrapped up at 3pm Saturday. It was at the pool- so that was the "Music" for the entire day. Hours of long prayers in a foreign language. It was truly beautiful, but I didn't book the vacation to attend the wedding.

The Destin Florida area is a beautiful opportunity to see white sandy beaches, blue water, and perfect weather without leaving the US. The Hilton Sandestin is centrally located to the outlets and main attractions. With that being said, my expectations are high for a Hilton property unfortunately, this property disappoints this time around. To jump right in, we've stayed here 3 times and this was probably the worst stay we've had. Not because of staff; the property, although newly renovated, does not appear to be well maintained. It felt like a budget motel and not a Hilton. Dirt and grime is everywhere, which is surprising as I figured the hotel would be preparing/cleaning for busy season. The room, was located near the elevator and could be loud at times with the laughter of kids or people heading out for the day, which didn't bother us. When we arrived on Saturday April 11, 2026, the bottom bunk was damp and had an unidentified smelly substance on the mattress that had to be removed by maintenance staff. They were very kind, but knocked a hole in the wall retrieving the unidentified substance on the bunk bed. The baseboards in the room appeared to be covered in dust. So much so, that I wiped them down with a Lysol wipe to help as we have allergies to dust. Hair (that wasn't ours) was located in various spaces within the room and on some towels. The beds were lumpy and sagged on both sides, which made for a very uncomfortable sleep. We were told that the mattress would be replaced, but it never happened. Shotty construction work made the shower appear dirty, even after I cleaned it. Housekeeping staff was friendly (Stephainie) and stopped by at around 9 AM each morning. She provided towels, took out trash, and made the bed on days that we didn't have the privacy placard on the door. The last night of our stay, a giant water bug came from what I think was the vent, but honestly could have been due to our balcony door being opened at various times throughout the day. We would possibly stay here again, but I would definitely have to bring my own cleaning supplies to feel comfortable. (Broom, mop, duster, etc)...and I would have to have a non sagging mattress.
