Great place to stay near down town playa del Carmen

This property is advertised as a hotel. However, when I asked for a change of tv remote control, the front desk staff let me know that the rooms - if not all rooms are managed by their individual owners. I was told they will 'let know maintenance" but never showed up. Terrible water pressure in the shower, during our stay there was no cleaning of the room. Nevertheless, the room was modern including a kitchenette, fridge, microwave etc., AC was good. Our room view was a wall. The best was the swimming pool and bar service (the hotel has no restaurant nor provide with coffee in the room). Staff is a hit and miss. Some were more friendly and helpful than other.

Loved it… All you need from a Boutique Hotel

So, the hotel is fairly new. Our room was great! (114) huge balcony 2 bedrooms. The clubs are A little loud, but we had no problem sleeping. Very close to everything. 5th street, bars, & restaurants. Dive shop across the street,pharmacy, & 7/11. Pool is great, and the rooftop bar.

I’ve stayed here before two years ago and loved it but this time around wasn’t as lovely. The smell in the area was so gross, the AC wouldn’t stay on often. It would sometimes stop in the middle of the night making it hard to sleep. The hotel itself is beautiful! But just to be aware, and very noisy at night as it’s right downtown.

It was nice, the room was plenty large enough for one person, would have been nice to have a balcony, but I guess those are only in the larger rooms. The windows did open so that was nice. The location is good, close to the beach, shopping and restaurants. It is 1 block from a corner where 3 bars party well into the morning hours. Fortunately my room (308) did not get much noise from the bars due to the whitenoise created by the A/C. On that point, they had the room set to 18c when I got there so that was turned up to a more pleasant 22. There is a kitchen in the rooms, but they do not provide any dish towels in the kitchen. The rooftop pool is very nice with plenty of room to lounge around in the sun.

Place is nice all within walking distance. Rooftop pool is amazing ! We had and inconvenience at check in, we came into our room to only see it was already occupied with other guests luggage inside… we rushed back down to lobby the guy told us for some reason they gave other guest keys to open our room. There was huge confusion.. elevators stopped working, WIFI stopped working on our 1st night had not tv for rest of our stay.. there is only street parking and you have to pay.. no hair dryer .. and pretty much the guy in lobby told us this property was basically was being hosted and out host wasn’t available when we asked to bring us shampoo

Great roof top pool! Ocean views from the roof! Perfect location. The loud clubs are real but I slept no problem (light sleepers might not). Small ant problem too. Would totally stay here again. The roof top is amazing. Also cheap drinks at roof bar but they run out of supplies

A great spot! Couldn’t ask for more other than if the bar upstairs can stay open longer than 8:30pm
