"Unhappy at the LaQuinta"

When we got there their computer was down and they couldn’t find our reservation so I had to call hotel.com so they could confirm the reservation. The manager was very rude and so was the receptionist (if you could call her that) would rather visit with ( I think) a worker. It took about 30+ minutes to get a room. The room needs some extra TLC. To keep the refrigerator on we had to keep the lamp burning all night. When we checked out they still couldn’t get the computer to log in so I am not sure what they charge. To me this is not a La Quinta quality hotel. The out did had cigarette buts, trash and really needed to be cleaned up. One of the rooms had someone break into it and the cleaning lady said they had to break the window to get the stuff out of it (can’t they use one of their keys). We will never stay there again and if all the La Quinta’s are like that we will not stay at any of them. Sorry about the long review but I think La Quinta needs to do something.

A hot mess! the LaQuinta was horrible! LOOK AT LOCAL RATING! My mom and I slept with a chair under the door! The front desk staff had absolutely no clue what they were doing, one gal (Summer I think) said she was actually housekeeping. They couldn't use the computers and wrote names/rooms on paper. Then had to go check the room to make sure it was clean and nobody else was there. If I hadn't already paid via Expedia I would have left (and it was late). The maintenance man, Sam, was great! He found us a TV and got it hooked up and gave us some back story! This place shouldn't be open until they have been cleaned up, trained and given the support they need to function! This place apparently had existed as a FLOP house for a while before new management. I do have to say our room was pretty clean, looked like it had been painted? but the linen was old, the blanket had slits in it like it had been cut with a knife....but hey we didn't die and are still laughing about it.........

This is a terrible hotel. I will not recommend this hotel to anyone. First, there was no room for us. When my wife ask to speak with the manager he was not in the hotel. The employees had no way to contact him. They claim not to have his phone number or any other way to communicate with him. They had no password to get on the computer. Only the manager had the password, he could not be reached. Then the front desk person offered to provide a room until the manager came back to do the proper check-in. Well, the room was in terrible (nasty condition). the beds were not made. The bathroom was nasty and dirty. There were no sheets or pillows on the beds. They had to go to another room to get some pillows, that were not that clean. When my wife told the front desk person that she was not staying in that place in those conditions he said to call Expedia and ask for a refund. Before she did that she went across the street to another hotel and got a room. While chatting with Expedia CSR, they tried to call the hotel to speak with someone, preferably the manager. No one was picking up the phone. So my wife had to go back to the hotel and told them to pick up the phone. They said that the phone was not ringing, and this was true. After informing Expedia of the phone not ringing the ask to verify with the hotel people the hotel phone number. The employees claimed not to know the hotel phone number. How can you not know the number of the place were you work? Okay so we told Expedia this

"Hell’s Motel"

Switch rooms three times. Last room stained carpet, toilet broken, mold in tub and shower curtain, bugs in room, no refrigerator, desk about to fall down, no towels and three tiny pillows. The absolute worst!!!

We did not stay. Criminal activity ran rampant and the facility was filthy. Drugs and prostitution was readily apparent. Trash everywhere, door locks broken. Unclean, unsafe, unsanitary. We left after preparing for an attack from criminal types in the area.
