Embassy Suites by Hilton Kansas City Plaza

The inside was very cute, like a town square in Europe. The room fronts were also very cute, with two floor-to-ceiling windows on either side of the door, which gave it a more homey feel. The room was nice and fairly clean, although we did find a pair of shoes under the bed, so maybe there could be more detail out into the cleaning. The bartender at the restaurant, Andre, was the best! He was very kind and friendly and personable. He really went above and beyond to ensure you had what you wanted.

All in all the kids really enjoyed the visit. They had fun at the hotel and enjoyed walking the area. Not so much at night because there was some gang members yelling at my kids and scared them.

Dirty, bathroom needs serious maintenance.

It was clean and the people were friendly. What was disappointing you could not use cash. The bar closed too early. Housekeeping did not touch up the room everyday. Breakfast closed too early. It should be from 7 to 11am since there was no lunch.

The hotel was not in the best shape. I found a pair of underwear in our room. They knew 4 people were staying for 5 nights and only gave us 2 towels. We asked for additional towels and were given 2 hand towels. The breakfast was not very good and the staff was grumpy and rude. The room itself was old. The ceiling in the bathroom had cracks in it and dirt in the corners of the floor.

The hotel was disgusting, mold in the showers, torn up couch, I stood in like for 30 minutes to ask for a blanket for the pull out because no one answered the phone and then waited another hour for the blanket itself. There was poop in the pool and my entire family got bed bugs. The service was awful and the hotel was disgusting. Truly a disgrace to Embassy Suites.
