Embassy Suites by Hilton Kansas City Plaza

This facility was built in 1977 and last renovated in 2009, and it looked like it! We opened our suite door and we were instantly greeted with the odor of stale tobacco smoke, a remembrance of 1977 when this must have been a smoking room. The window facing the outdoors looked as if it had not been washed since 2009, paint on the exterior wrought iron was peeling off. Carpet in the hall was worn out near the elevator, and patched with duct tape in other places. On the bright side the staff is helpful and responsive. Especially the omelet station and at the manager’s cocktail reception.

The room was clean but the refrigerator did not work at all, there was an empty bottle of conditioner in the bathroom as if housekeeping didn’t bother checking it to see if it had anything in it or not, the hot tub wasn’t even lukewarm, it was also not functioning properly but it was not marked from guest use. The hotel looked nice but for the price i would expect to atleast have functional admenities

The door to our room seemed to be kicked in before because it was all splintered at the lock. The bathroom door would not shut unless you slammed it really hard. It needs to be realigned or something unfortunately there was construction all around the hotel so you really couldn’t Walk down sidewalks. We had to walk through the parking lot to get to Westport.

Wish we had room service everyday... The only downside. Breakfast area was not very clean Coffee was really watered down.

It's mold in the bathroom the shower curtain, wall and ceiling

There was something leaking from the pipes onto my car in the parking garage and it is not coming off. We found a vape pen in the pull out sofa!

Lot's of choices, tasted good.

The location

The room was dirty, dated and I didn't receive housekeeping when requested. Had to switch rooms and I was not happy paying for parking in addition to the high room price.

They were very professional and absolutely amazing!

It’s a good place to bring your family, good breakfast arcade stuff for the kids. The pool is okay it was just to cold for being indoor.
