"Warm welcome"

Room in booked wasn't available at check-in due to maintenance, so was given a (free) upgrade. Staff apologetic and helpful. Room comfy and well fitted out. Corridor carpets in main hotel are looking very tired. Good breakfast and although I hadn't been here since Feb 2025, I was recognised by Charlene who was on duty at breakfast, which made my day. Checkout was quick and easy. I think £12 to park at a hotel is a bit cheeky though. £5 would have been ample. Parking is VERY tight and takes a bit of a wriggle to get in depending which part of the car park you're in.
