It was a convenient stopover on our journey

The room was small dark and very hot, no fan or air conditioning, just 2 small windows opened to let air in, but also the noise of cars and pub patrons with barking dogs and noisy children. There was also a green light indicating the emergency exit (the only exit) which shone directly down on the bed. We had a very sleepless night

Room was small and very hot, the door opened straight onto a car park. The car park was adjacent to a busy road. The fan provided worked but was far more noisy than normal. No other fans were available.

Not much.

Don’t consider this as a quick break from London. Food is terrible, service is slow, place is rundown. Staff work hard but severely understaffed. Waited 70 minutes for a meal. Don’t even try to order on the app in the bar. I don’t think anyone got served that way until they went to the bar , queued up and complained. As they had already paid online they couldn’t even leave in disgust!

Always helpful staff that welcome you. A very good location. Have stayed several times. Room fine and comfortable.

There were ants in the room which we hadn’t experienced before. I left a note when I put the key through the pub door, so hopefully staff sorted it out after we’d left. I’d stay there again.

Short notice stay. Was great value for money. Checked in later than expected and ordered food without delay. Very freindly and welcoming environment. Highly recomended.
