Mövenpick Hotel Zuerich-Airport

The hotel feels very dated, not particularly clean, and in need of a full update. I did not feel comfortable as a female traveler, especially with large groups of men hanging around outside the hotel and in the lobby late at night. The room was not cleaned properly, there was overspray in the shower area, and the room door did not seal properly, so you could see into the corridor from inside the room. On the positive side, the check-in staff were very efficient, and the airport transfer service was reliable.

I spent a night in Movenpick hotel, Airport, I would like to extend a big thanks to receptionist named Eugene for his outstanding service, his kindness and human touch towards my kids was unforgettable.

Hotel has apparently recently changed the shuttle provider. Shuttle is now in combination with the nearby Dorint Airport Hotel. Before drivers were helpful and friendly. I had now a very rude driver (Jogan or Yogan), sitting just in the bus, opening the trailer and letting all guests put the luggage inside and vice versa, no help offered. I asked him if he maybe wants at least to help a woman and a family with the bags, he was very rude answering "this is not my job, I am a driver not a porter" murmuring some bad words after me. Assigned room was outdated, furniture scratched and broken, minibar not working, lock not closing smoothly, bathroom in a bad state. Last time I had a better room, apparently there are different categories... Nice breakfast buffet and good drinks at the bar.

Convenient location near to airport and super market , as Zurich is not much bigger city you can reach where ever you want in 15-20 minutes , rooms are ok n clean , reception is good , breakfast is good , nothing to complain , I stayed there with group of 50 people , not received any complain .

Very good service A nice hotel located near the airport. Enjoy the shuttle bus to airpot. The i stayed at 7th floor the room was old need upgrate & tired. Staff very helpful, i arrived almost midnight. I havent had ny dinner, the staff complemantry spare a cake for me. I appreciated the kindness of the receptionists

I stayed here for four consecutive nights in September. As a Hilton Diamond member, I usually stay at the nearby Hilton Zurich Airport during my three annual visits, but it was fully booked on this occasion. The hotel's principal advantage is its location. A tram stop is within a few minutes' walk, providing convenient access to the city centre—a significant advantage over the Hilton. The facilities show their age, much like the Hilton, though the rooms here are in somewhat better condition than Hilton's rather tired accommodations. The hotel's operations, however, leave much to be desired. On one of my four nights, housekeeping failed to service my room. When I called to request service that afternoon, the room was never cleaned, and fresh towels were never provided. Similarly, when I reported a broken closet door that would not move, the issue remained unaddressed until my checkout. At checkout, I requested that an invoice be sent by email, but it never arrived. A subsequent request through all.accor.com was equally unsuccessful despite of reminders.

We ordered room dining during our stay. We had slow-cooked lamb, and the side dish was forgotten, so we only got an ice cream scoop size of lamb for €44. On the kid’s menu, it’s written as Caesar salad with chicken, but there was no chicken in fact - very misleading. Breakfast was €32 per person, the most expensive breakfast I’ve had in a hotel. There was nothing justified the price. We were very disappointed with the meals. Otherwise, the service was decent.

I had a very pleasant stay at Mövenpick Hotel Zürich Airport. I was especially impressed with the generous room upgrade, which made the stay even more comfortable. The free welcome drink was a nice touch and set a positive tone right from arrival. The complimentary airport shuttle was also extremely convenient and ran smoothly, making transfers to and from the airport completely hassle-free. A special thank you to Yasmin and Eugene at the reception — they were incredibly friendly, welcoming, and professional, and really made me feel valued as a guest. Their warm attitude stood out and made a big difference. Overall, a great experience and an excellent choice for anyone staying near Zurich Airport. I would happily stay here again.

Good hotel, a lot of Indians stay here, rooms are a bit old fashioned and run down, but justifies the price, check in checkout staff is untrained and dont know about much things.

The most filthy and dirty hotel I have ever booked a room at in my life! I booked because I came to a job fair that was held in this hotel, but I DO NOT advise anyone to make the mistake of staying in this hotel! The duvet covers were dirty and I turned on the light to see how filthy and filthy they could be!!!! It was miserable!!. And when I say miserable please see the attached pictures!, the bathroom was filthy and the sanitary ware very old and dirty (see the pictures) the air conditioning vent was covered in dust and I think mold bacteria had already grown there (also see the pictures), the heat did not work... so something horror! This hotel should not be operating! It is unacceptable to let a hotel operate like this. I will also send the pictures to the health department in Zurich, and I am sure that measures should be taken to close this hotel!!! It is miserable!!! If I could give a minus grade I would, unfortunately I can't give a grade lower than 1 because the grades are from 1 to 5, but if I could I would give a minus 5.
