Mövenpick Hotel Zuerich-Airport

Convenient with transport to the airport. Helpful staff. Comfortable beds. Clean room. Wifi was unreliable and the restaurant was too expensive for us so decided to utalise the transport to the airport for more dining options.

Great location close to the airport and train station

Room was ok, it was fine although I suppose I had higher hopes. We had to pay for the shuttle that arrived at midnight even though, from what I interpreted by the sign, it was still free. Glad at it came and a decent bed to sleep in with friendly staff, bathtub wasn't clean enough for a bath, but shower sufficed.

The duvets were odd… only for one half of the bed. There were 2 but it was strange to have just a 3 foot wide duvet to cover me and to need to stay in that 3 foot space or not be covered. The shower head was very high and since I am not very tall I couldn’t adjust it. Therefore much water went on the floor because the spray went to the open part of the shower and with no door, the water ended up on the floor.

Mold in bathroom. Dirty smell In room. Not a good look lace to stay.

Stayed there for one night, pretty gloomy place with barely working AC and never seen before lumpy blankets that was scary to cover ourselves with. During heatwave it was brutal and hot!

We chose Movenpick Zurich Airport for a one-night stay primarily because of its close proximity to the airport and the convenient shuttle service for our flight to Berlin. The hotel itself is comfortable and clean, and it served its purpose perfectly for our family. However, its location is quite isolated, so it's not a place where you can easily walk to shops or restaurants. We found that taxis and Uber were plentiful, and it was a quick 10-15 minute ride to city attractions like the Lindt Museum, Lake Zurich, and the FIFA Museum. The hotel does have its own restaurant, which is a nice convenience, though we had already eaten at the airport before checking in. The staff were friendly and very helpful, especially when assisting us with our luggage during checkout. Overall, this hotel is a great choice for an overnight stay or if you need to be close to the airport. However, if you're a traveler who prefers to be within walking distance of shops and eateries, this might not be the best fit for you.

Nice enough for a night near the airport. Restaurant is pretty good for lunch/dinner. Rooms are a little outdated and need repairs.

The worst part was arriving at the airport to catch the free shuttle they offer to get to the hotel. Only to find that the free times are from 8-12pm then 4-8pm. I arrived at z1:30pm at the airport and had to pay $20 to take the shuttle. None of that was advertised nor was I informed pre hand. Not great customer service and room was plain and felt dirty.

Hotel average. Help from staff regarding child's missing soft toy after check out was poor. Phoned several times on day of check out and told to phone back in 10 minutes. When I phoned back was told to leave phone number so they could update me. No one phoned back with any update. Emailed on day of check out, no reply. Phoned 2 days after checkout and was told they would phone back to update me. No phone call. Phoned 3 Days after check out and finally told no.
