Omni Royal Orleans Hotel

It was rough.. we did not have a quality experience with our rooms. In our first room the toilet had been used and not flushed. Our second room had mice droppings. If you run hot you may not adjust your room temperature below 68 degrees. The guest fee to park per night was 50 dollars. It was not a quality welcoming experience. Very uncomfortable...

Our stay was perfect! Beautiful property, great location, the staff was amazing and so welcoming and warm. The room was spacious and beautiful. The pool was under construction but we were offered to use a different property. It was raining so we didn't have the chance. Would definitely stay here again

No hot water in the shower

Dear Omni after 20+ years of staying at the Omni Royal, we are breaking up. Stayed in a premium room with a balcony. The beds are totally worn, sink in like a worn out camper mattress and sheets are institutional. Pillows are worse than my dog bed. I’ve traveled for 38 years and can tolerate just about anything but for a vacation at +400/ night it should be nicer than my 10 year old camper…..it’s not. Lobby is clean, pool is under renovations which is terrific but the rooms are worn out. Simple fixes like painting giant scrapes, the balcony paint hasn’t been updated in a decade. Please do better unfortunately we are now divorced. Keep the worn out furniture and dirty carpet.

Had a terrible experience with the Omni. We went for a bachelor party with a large group expecting to enjoy the rooftop pop advertised on its website. When we arrived they informed us that it was not working and would have to go to another hotel to use a pool. Then the room was small, dirty and had the worst view ever. When asked staff, was met with a bad attitude and nothing Able to be done about it. Very dissatisfied

Our stay at the Omni Royal Orleans was absolutely fantastic, easily earning a 9 out of 10. The layout of the hotel is beautiful, and the entire property, including our room, was spotlessly clean. What truly sets this hotel apart is the incredible staff. From the moment we arrived, the door greeters and luggage assistants were welcoming and helpful. Check-in was smooth, and we received clear, polite instructions. Throughout our entire stay, the staff frequently and proactively asked if we needed anything every time we walked by. We were also highly impressed by how they handled their pool being out of order for construction improvements. We were deeply grateful that they partnered with Hotel Monteleone to open their pool to Omni guests. We truly appreciated still being able to experience the pool scene despite the construction. This level of accommodation shows a true dedication to guest satisfaction. We will definitely be back!

We had a terrible experience. This was once my favorite hotel in the French Quarter and we would stay here every jazz fest for a week no longer first of all, the rooftop bar. This is the second time we’ve stayed there where it’s no longer open and the pool was really bad. I fell in the pool. It was so dirty. I slipped and fell. It was just. I couldn’t believe it, of course you didn’t notice that until you slip on the steps and injure yourself and that is exactly what happened in May of this year, but I didn’t have the option to write May we stayed for jazz fest which we were doing every year for years, we switched hotels and we switched you Because Omni has gotten so bad
