I found the bed too firm. I didn't sleep well at all. I felt the kitchen needed more in the way of saucepans. If I was staying for longer, I would have struggled to cook what I wanted.

Well maintained, lovely period features. Well equipped kitchen. The location was in easy reach of station, city centre and local amenities. Everything we needed was within a short walk.

Nothing I would stay again.

The location was great.

It was so cold and I understand it’s an old Victorian property but we’ve never stayed anywhere where you have to contact the host to keep putting the heating on ? We did try and control it ourselves but it wasn’t working right. The property wasn’t spotless either. They need to look at the kitchen tap where the water comes out it was disgusting. Also some of the cutlery wasn’t clean and we had to clean them along with the kitchen sink which was grimy. Also you state in your information that the council owned car park is £20 a day. We stayed for 3 days so thought it would be £60 no it cost us £75 which is a bit steep. The small car park that you have an agreement with had no spaces so we were unable to use that one. We also feel that you need to state in your information warning people that the stairs in the property are steep and people with mobility issues would find it difficult.
