El Beso Adults Only At Ocean El Faro - All Inclusive

I really enjoyed my stayed at el beso; we stayed in the swim up suite. However, it was many hiccups in the beginning. Our first room was not cleaned properly and it had a very bad smell so we had to request a room change. At first they were trying to send housekeeping to clean up the room but we just wanted an entirely different room. We received our new room and it was much better and we were pleased. The resort does an extermination and it was cockroaches crawling out from everywhere outside of our door. We had to place towels under the door so they couldn’t get in; it was really disgusting and gross. In addition to these hiccups the resort is huge and the grounds are very well kept and maintained. The staff there was really nice and greeted us with warm smiles. I had a concierge named Carlos buayone and he was awesome; he made sure our stay was comfortable and anything we needed he made sure that it got done. For example, booking the reservations for the speciality restaurants and making sure we had a trolley to take us to and from the restaurants. If it wasn’t for the few hiccups this resort would’ve been 5 stars. The food and drinks are good and there’s plenty of options for everyone.

Pro: good Wi-Fi signal, staff is great (friendly and happy), clean, we were assigned Jose Miguel as our butler, he was excellent. Jose was helpful and always in a good mood, great person. Things that can improve: food and entertainment.

Was ok. Food wasn’t good, only good thing was the lazy river. Specialty restaurant wasn’t good - Italia. We ended up only eating at the buffet which had mediocre food. Never got my wine for my room. Overall I rested but waste of money

Hot tub didnt work. Room service limited staff seemed bothered. Pools clean food good.

My stay was awesome, Carlos my concierge made sure my stay was great. He did everything in his power to make sure I was satisfied. I had the best time although I was not at the resort most of the time because I was on excursions when I was at the resort I had an amazing fantastic time. Everyone was friendly staff, travelers, etc.. my only issue was that the elevator did not work and I end up having a swollen knee from going up three flight of steps when I got home, but other than that, everything else was amazing!

Our stay at the El Beso resort was overall very disappointing. From the start of the trip, even though our reservation was for 6 people, our rooms were on either side of the resort, meaning to get to each other we would have to walk the whole resort. Next with our rooms, some of the drinks that were in the fridge were already opened, the hot tub on the rooftop (which was an upcharged room) was not working and maintenance needed to be called. One of the rooftop rooms was even missing the outdoor swing chair, which was never resolved. Moving on to the actual resort, the food options were very limited. Much of the options were repeated throughout the restaurants, and lacked overall quality. We can say that a few of the restaurants did have good service, however it came with very long wait times. Another thing to mention is that some of the restaurants needed to be reserved first thing in the morning to get a spot in the evening, and others were first come first serve, in which at one time, we were turned away service because of not following the dress code (wearing Birkenstocks which were not considered ‘close-toed’), when the previous day we were accepted service at the same restaurant for wearing the same type of shoes. Next, the pools, which were probably about the only thing that was good and consistent. The lazy river was great and we spent a lot of time in there. Our concierge (Carlos E.) was amazing, and helped us figure out a lot of these problems.

The food and amenities were great! Kevin, our Guest Experience Specialist, was very helpful in booking dinner reservations too!

I really enjoyed my swim up junior suite & the bartender lady that always made sure our cups were full! But we've had people just walk into our room without even knocking sometimes. Throughout our 6 day stay, it happened about 4 or 5 times. They would either knock once & walk in or not knock at all.. but just invite themselves in. I couldn't even find a "do not disturb" sign anywhere in the room to put on the door. The dining options were okay! The "you have to reserve early in the morning" just to have a good time for dinner were crazy. The Italian spot didn't have lasagna when I ordered and also gave us tiny portions. Hibachi was great but having so many people at one table leaves you with little portions of food. Margarita was great but service was slow & we had our room number down but everyone else was being seated before us, even though we were there before them! Route 66 was okay food, I felt like the hostess catered only to people that looked like her or talked like her.. but our waitress was fantastic! Our room was always clean and we always had towels! They cleaned the pools regularly which was also great! The alcohol was limited if you're not privileged.. as an "all inclusive" that was bogus. We could only have certain alcohol brands since we had "silver" bracelets. Our "ride" never picked us up at the desired time for our luggage's to be brought to the front for us to check out, so we walked. But overall, I had a great time. I would say 3.5/5 stars!

Over all, this was a great trip! The food was amazing at the Steakhouse, Pez Dama, Italian Restaurant and so much more! The steaks could be better. Other than the food, the room was disappointing. We booked a rooftop room with a jacuzzi tub on the roof top, and a jacuzzi tub in the bathroom upstairs. Both tubs took well over an hour and a half to full, and there was no hot water!!! The shower in the bathroom on the first floor was the only bathroom/source of hot water! The swim up bar, and pools were amazing! Great drinks and amazing bartenders! The butlers don’t do as they should, at least ours didn’t. He only responded to our texts every 12 hours or so, and half of the time, it was after we already did the task ourselves! The strip mall on the resort was gorgeous! They hosted events every night, from vendors, silent disco, karaoke, dancing, and so much more!! The club at night was great, adults only 11p-2a. Bartenders were great there, and so were the drinks. Basically, the only downfall was our room. This was a romantic trip, we got engaged. The tubs took forever to fill, no hot water, the floors in the room had a residue on them, and you can just tell they didn’t take their time building the suites! But over all, it was beautiful, great service, amazing property, and good food!!!
