Four Seasons Hotel Montreal

Great location and staff.

Smart TVs with apps (such as Netflix) installed would be great.

The hotel itself (once you get into it) is nice, and the staff is welcoming. The room was fine. The problem was parking. The hotel is on a crowded side street. When we arrived (by car), the garage staff had no luggage carts. We had 2 suitcases, a number of smaller bags, and, after a 7 hour drive, other items scattered around. We were rushed through the drop-off process. Without a cart, there was no way for us to make sure that everything we wanted would be brought up to our room. We had to ask for specific items and my husband finally went to the garage to get what he needed. When we left, the garage staff somehow overlooked one small bag which happened to contain our lunch for the trip home and some flexible cold packs. My husband checked the sidewalk and nothing of ours was there/we had brought the bag with us to the street and have no idea how this bag went missing. We sent a message to the hotel, and a manager responded after a few days after the bag was located. He offered to ship it back, and we asked for the cold packs but not the bag or the food to be returned. The manager did not mention that we would have to pay for shipping. He did send the items back -- COD. The package arrived while we were on vacation out of the country so we could not accept it. We have no idea what happened to this package but we were billed $32.29 by UPS for their service. Needless to say, we are not planning to stay at this hotel again.

We stayed here for one night and had an incredible experience. The room was clean and beautiful and the bed was so comfortable. We celebrated our anniversary and they surprised us with a dessert in the room. Looking forward to staying again.
