Four Seasons Hotel Montreal

If there’s a Four Seasons in the City or place where we will be it will be our choice, no matter where in the world! You know what you will get. In Montréal it’s no different from the valet & bellman, check-in and room. We stayed 4 nights and were completely satisfied. The head concierge was very helpful.

Overall stay was okay. Didn’t feel like you were in four seasons. It felt more like an average five star hotel.

The food was outstanding in this hotel. The meal at Marcus that we had was superb. Possibly our favorite meals during our stay. The hotel is exquisite, wonderful service, great comfort. Quiet luxury. Absolutely fantastic.

Our room was a little noisy night. Which is quite disappointing, but we were so comfortable. We were able to sleep and enjoy our stay.

With the reputation of the Four Seasons particularly on attention to details, and the money we have to pay for one-night stay, and for the food and beverage, I am disappointed with our stay. When we arrived at 1pm, understandably our room was not ready. But when we came back at check in time of 3pm, our room was still not ready. I would expect the front desk would advise the housekeeping that the guests had arrived at 1pm and asked them to rush the room to have it ready at least on time. I noticed two dirty spots on the carpet. I mentioned that to the bellman who delivered our luggage, and he told me that he would inform the responsible department(s). Nothing was done through our stay. Although the bellman was kind enough to follow up with me to advise me that our concerns had been passed on and will be rectified. I also noticed that despite the fact that the reservation was made for three people, only two sets of linen were in the bathroom. I have to ask for extra set of linen. The tissue box in the bathroom was almost empty, and there was no spare box available. The toilet paper had only 1 ply and not soft enough to our liking. I found that both the gym and the pool were in an untidy manner when I first visited. They were nice and clean the next morning when I visited again. When I ordered room service for dinner, the food presentation was very underwhelming, With Cavatelli Braised Beef, in my opinion the pasta was undercooked. The side dish of Grilled Broccolini has a burnt taste, but otherwise very bland. The waiter put the food tray on one of the beds, which I found it not very acceptable. The next morning, we had breakfast at the restaurant. I found the presentation of the food underwhelming. But worst is that my salmon benedict was at best warm, not hot. On the positive side, all the staff were professional and friendly, and tried to be helpful. The room was great and clean except the dirty spots that I mentioned above. I put down the similar comments to the hotel since my return home about 5 days ago, and I have not received any response, not even an acknowledgement.

Everything was great. However, the rooms and the common areas had a bad smell like that of pets. Maybe the smell was that of mold throughout the building. The only place that smelled okay was the RC level.

Went here for a staycation and loved it! Spa was great and luxurious, rooms were luxurious and updated. Pool was great and a fully equipped gym. We have stayed here multiple times and it never fails to disappoint! Perfect hotel in the center of Montreals downtown. Best hotel in Montreal!

We arrived to a nightclub like feel outside the front of the hotel and were not greeted by any hotel staff. My partner and I entered and looked around and then returned out front where we found the bellman socializing with the nightclub goers and ignoring us. It was only after I requested he separate from his friends to help us with our luggage did he assist us. Then when we got to the check in the nightclub on the same floor was so loud we could barely hear anything. Then once we got to our room we could still hear the music pounding from our room. I went downstairs immediately and said it was midnight and we could not sleep. The hotel manager said the hotel "was completely sold out" and if he were to move us we would have to move back to our original room the next day. I told him that this was unacceptable and we would not pay $1000 per night to have to sleep above a nightclub we could hear. It was only after going downstairs twice (at 1 in the morning) that all of a sudden another room became available. My partner later told me the next morning to check online to see if it was true they had no other rooms available. I checked and there were Multiple rooms in Multiple categories. So not only were we not assisted originally we were also lied to. Eventually they moved us to a new room but this should not have happened in the first place. Should not require me requesting multiple times to not have to sleep in a room that literally reverberated. And staff should be honest.
