Four Seasons Hotel Montreal

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly especially the reception and cleaning staff. We really appreciate having the baby amenities as well! (Crib, baby bath products, etc)

A little (quite a bit) crowded, difficult to navigate due to traffic no easy parking unless you can pay some good money. Otherwise service and stay was very commendable.

The four seasons Montreal is beautiful. The rooms are really well appointed and very well laid out. The location is also great. The staff are all really friendly, but I think they are overworked and overstretched. If you make request, the receptionist are very accommodating, but then staff might never arrived to the room to fulfill them. Or, sometimes requests are just forgotten. For example, I have an overactive mini fridge that is super loud and I asked for someone to come take a look, and despite a promise to come right away, nobody came. I also asked room service to bring a few more bottles of water to the room, and while the room service came, the water didn’t. These oversights don’t really seem like a big deal, but when you’re jetlagged and really tired, they can really ruin the experience. Also, I would not recommend rooms 1201 or 1118. Both have some weird electrical, mechanical whine throughout the room. If you have sensitive ears, this will drive you completely insane. Lastly, there is something wrong with the phone systems. It is impossible to call room service as in both rooms, these calls just went to a dial tone. I hope that some of these issues will see some improvement in the future, because the rooms really are very lovely, and the staff is very welcoming, and it’s a shame that the service is so uncoordinated.

It’s a five-star hotel. But staff service is really slow. It took them more than a hour to bring some take-out boxes to room. The room does not have good sound insulation. You could hear your neighbour. And you could hear slamming doors loudly. The concierge is short-staffed. No one comes to help you with your baggage. Overall it’s an overrated hotel.

It does not get any better. Everything was absolutely perfect. The service, staff, and amenities were amazing.

Although the room feels relatively small compared to the generous bathroom and toilet, the overall experience is very much in line with the Four Seasons standard.
