Hilton Orange County/Costa Mesa

Very old hotel... yellow stained curtains.. everything is yellow.. the hotel carpet is probably 40 years old.. Should not be a 4 star hotel.. this Hilton needs some major updates.. I have the same shower in my apartment... the lamps in the rooms..horrible.. Overall not bad.. but definitely not a 4 star hotel

I have been staying here on and off for the past few months for a work training. I wanted to give a shout out to Jorge, Mayra and Pea. You all have made the stay warm and inviting. Jorge made a great first impression by getting me a nice room because it was my first time here. Pea had great customer service by saving a nice room for me one night on the top floor. I was worried because I got there super late. Mayra was super friendly and easy to talk to. She helped me out with rooms as well. We ate breakfast and the dining staff was lovely. Always filling my coffee and quickly serving us when we had to order off the menu. Even the manager was nice, chatting with me while I got some snacks. A suggestion that I've seen at other hotels is to have a QR code where we can tip the house keeping using a credit card. It makes it easier than having to make a trip to get cash. They work hard too and it would make it much more convenient for the guests. Overall the stays have been great. I liked the morning menu (the bread is delicious). I had a salad for dinner one of my first nights and it was a little pricey but worth it. The hotel is by a ton of restaurants, malls and shops so it's super convenient. I would recommend this hotel for others and especially for the outstanding customer service with your team of staff. Wishing everyone a happy holiday. - J Ponsor

I would like to formally recognize Lance, the General Manager of the Front Desk at the Hilton Orange County Costa Mesa, for exemplifying exactly what Hilton strives for in guest service and leadership. Hilton is known for its commitment to hospitality, integrity, accountability and treating every guest with dignity and respect. Lance embodied these values at every level. From the moment he engaged with me regarding a concern a concern about a stay in July 2024 that he was not involved with, he listened attentively, acknowledged the issue without defensiveness and approached the situation with professionalism, empathy, and transparency. What truly distinguished Lance was his ability to take ownership (even though he had nothing to do with the prior issue), ensure the matter was addressed appropriately and that it would not happen again, and made me feel heard and valued as a very loyal Hilton Honors Gold Member/Guest. Hilton’s service philosophy emphasizes problem resolution, guest trust and consistent brand excellence, and Lance delivered superiorly on all three. His calm demeanor, clear communication and decisive action reflected strong leadership and a genuine commitment to the Hilton standard. Because of Lance’s professionalism, a prior uncomfortable experience/situation was transformed into a positive and reassuring experience. His conduct—and especially his leadership—reinforced my confidence in Hilton as a brand that prioritizes guest experience, fairness and accountability. Old Hôtel equipments as A/C very old

Beautiful hotel. Easy parking. Very friendly staff. Lance at the front desk helped us check in and was so sweet and helpful! Definitely will be staying here again in the future!
