Excellent value for money. The only negative is the carpet in the hotel area badly needs replacing.

Stayed bed and breakfast as attending family party. All staff were extremely helpful and pleasant . The first room we were offered was fine however as a ground floor room the windows had decorative window bars on (making it more secure from unwelcome visitors) which I would not be happy in as quite claustrophobic. I was then offered another room which again was lovely- crisp white bedding , large wet room, lovely grey carpet. Yes it was just off reception and there was a bit of noise when we first when to bed but that’s other people not the hotel.Breakfast was really good and plentiful ( 2 of bacon sausage eggs- 1 black pudding 1 hash brown, beans, tomatoes ,and mushrooms followed by toast. The only strange thing was the tea or coffee was charged as an extra not provided within the breakfast. However great value for money and would definitely stay again. Agree some corridor carpet needs replacing but I can only comment on the rooms I was offered

The staff were very nice and helpful. Exceptional staff. The hotel bar was great. I love the fact that there is a gym in the hotel for guests to use. Only downside is that the hotel is a little bit away from Manchester City center. You have to take a bus or taxi. Other than that I'd highly recommend this hotel. It was very good

Corridors were dated and dirty. Room was smelly from shower drain and dampness.

Fire alarm and evacuation of complete hotel at 11:45pm. Obviously this was set off by some idiot with nothing better to do!

Honestly the worst sleep I have had in a hotel EVER. They have a function room so noise is an issue, i did not know this when I booked. Walls are paper thin and I would be generous if I said I had 4 hours sleep. The reception area is quite nice but once you go down the corridors to the hotel rooms they stink. The carpets are filthy and smell like damp and cigarettes covered up by shake and vac. The room itself was ok, basic. They left us two very small towels which just wasn’t enough. The window had completely blown so we could not see out. The gym is extra, breakfast is extra and currently at £7.99 for a full English- didn’t see tea/coffee prices. We didn’t eat there as I couldn’t wait to leave, there’s a Tim Hortons and mc Donald’s 5 min drive away. The room itself didn’t look too dirty however I just felt grubby after being there and the corridors were enough to put me off. We booked via booking.com and I messaged the property explaining my issues and no reply! Literally a waste of money as I came home exhausted

Friendly professional staff. Property is rather worn in places and not does have much wall insulation between rooms. Great breakfast!

A CLEAN BED BUT THAT IS ABOUT ALL VERY TIRED HOTEL VERY POOR MENUE FOR MAIN MEAL EVERY THING OFF EXCEPT SAUSAGES MASH AND PEAS MASH WAS POWDERD
