La Ceiba Tree Lodge

Sergio is the best host ever! He is so passionate about his place and super welcoming and helpful! Beautiful sunset! Impressive Ceiba Tree!! Countless Birds and Howler Monkeys!! Close to the lake. Great Location and Bteakfast was good too! We would 100% stay again!! We had one of the Superior Rooms and it was well worth it. Beautiful Room with 2 beds, lots of space, private Balcony and Garden Views. Thank you Sergio and the best of luck!!!

We loved the private peaceful setting the lodge provided. The owners were exceptionally gracious and full of knowledge. The breakfast was 10/10 as well.

This Just wasn't a bed for me. That doesn't mean it wouldn't be for the next person. I find beds very firm in costs rica.

How could breakfast get any better, sitting on the open-air porch with a view of Lake Arenal, coffee brewed fresh at the table, and yummy food? The room also had an open-air porch with a stunning view. Host Sergio is very knowledgeable about the area and had good tips for places to visit.

Like all the area on the north side of Lake Arenal, the ascent to the property is very steep and consists of two cement tracks with ruts on either side - not for the faint of heart. If you're already used to driving in CR conditions, you may not even blink.

Beautiful. Owners are special and caring. Able to see many birds and listen to the holler monkeys.

Ceiba Tree lodge is magical. Nestled among the most beautiful foliage and with amazing views of Lake Arenal. Sergio is so welcoming and knowledgeable. The breakfast was delicious, with coffee made fresh right at your table. I would recommend Ceiba Tree Lodge to anyone seeking a peaceful and beautiful retreat. Close enough to all the activities, but secluded enough to feel like you have the whole mountain to yourself.

We stayed only for 1 night but enjoyed a lot. Very friendly and helpful host, nice location, quiet and with great view on a Arenal lake. Very good breakfast.

Very quiet, totally relaxing and lovely host

We liked lounging on the shared patio space (hammocks), eating breakfast with a magnificent view of the lake, and the friendly/hospitable staff

Absolutely magical if you enjoy a beautiful, special and remote adventure in peace. Stunning, place surrounded by beautiful nature! The host has been very helpful recommending restaurants and looked after any requests.

The view of Lake Aranal and the sunset were spectacular. The complimentary breakfast was yummy and we loved the Costa Rican coffee! Sergio and his wife were the perfect hosts, kind, generous and accommodating.

We didn't like leaving!
