"Lovely week away. Great location and hard working staff."

10.0

Honest review here. Positives : Gorgeous location. Amazing pools and the beach is lovely. There's plenty of staff at the hotel and they all work hard, from the pool attendants, cleaners, bar staff, waiters/waitresses and maids. At mealtimes, I never seen an empty dining table with dirty used plates on. They really don't stop and we thought the food was lovely. I'd seen some previous reviews about the food not being hot, well every meal we had was hot, apart from the salads 🤣. The bar staff and waitresses work hard too. Always ready to get you drinks. The maid in our room (Nadia, on the 2nd floor) did a great job aswell, kept our room immaculate and is a lovely, friendly girl. A total credit to the hotel. The staff, honestly, don't stop and the majority of them are friendly. It was also nice that whatever time we went the pool or beach, there were always available sun loungers so there's no need to get up at the crack of dawn to reserve them. I've given this hotel a 5 star review as the positives outweigh the negatives in my opinion. Negatives : Only two out of the four lifts were working on our last day so we had to carry our luggage down the stairs as the two working lifts were extremely busy (there's 13 floors at the hotel). Luckily, we were only on the 2nd floor. Also, one slight negative was the man in the currency exchange was rude and point blank refused to change a 20 Lev note for four 5 Lev notes (it was to tip staff). Didn't like his attitude at all. Advice: The shop onsite is expensive. I paid 8 Lev for milk when we first got there but soon realised the supermarkets in the locality charge less than half that price (3.60 Lev). In hindsight, the milk (at the hotel shop) didn't have a price on it so I don't know it the lady in the shop made the price up herself 🤣 Overall though, the location and hard working staff are a credit to the hotel and for me, the hotel deserves a 5 star rating although if I could have give it a four and a half, I would have, as the lift issue was a bit of a pain on the last day.

"Excellent relaxing week away."

10.0

Just returned home from a very good week in this hotel. First impression was good as there were food and refreshments available even though it was around 23.30 and the main restaurant was closed. Staff were very professional at check in and made the process smooth and simple. From the very start it could be seen that the hotel was very modern and incredibly clean. We stayed in room 330 which was a corner room at the far end of the building. Room was well furnished, very modern and again very clean. The bed was probably one of the most comfortable I have had at any hotel. There are a few restaurants on the complex but we used the main buffet style market garden mostly at breakfast and evening meal times. Food was always fresh, tasty with a wide range of choices. There were 3 themed evenings which was nice. I can be a picky eater but always found plenty to eat. Breakfast can get busy with short waits for the coffee machines or toaster. There are lots of sun loungers around the pool area and also on the beach so no issues with getting out in the sun. Pool was not heated but it came as a relief from the 30 degree temperature. The gym is ok but could maybe do with some additional pieces of equipment if I'm being picky. Evening entertainment was provided and it was ok, my favourite would be the acrobatic act. The hotel has 4 lifts which can get busy so you do sometimes have a wait. There's a variety of guests from many countries so it's quite a mix. Overall a very good time was had and I would return in the future. Restaurant and cleaning staff are a major credit to the hotel.

6.0

got there 3am to be greeted with 1 girl booked us in told us nothing about where to eat or even how to get to room anyway found lifts off up to room we went room was lovely on 8th floor very big massive comfy beds mega clean. got up next day missed went down to pools to find lots of sunbeds so no mad dash to put towels out thank god lots of pool area is closed off unless want to pay more for class upgrade which was little confusing as we thought all inclusive was everything in but not so. went out for lunch that evening which was little embarrassing went for food only to be told got to book 2 days in advance so ask where could we eat man on door said not sure so had to go front desk see where could eat without booking girl did point us in right direction food was always good quality workers where amazing so helpful. off we went into lobby bar for drink wife looked a drinks menu ordered only to be told have to pay for cocktail she ordered once again not all inclusive then must admit drinks we have and service we got from bar staff where top notch. not sure if cos classed as adult spa hotel but music which on all day and night like been on hold on phone proper did my head in hotel has nightclub which did close at 12 and had turns bingo and music quizzes once again all staff top notch . only other down fall we had to leave room by 11am but was not leaving hotel till 11.30pm very long time without a room could use all bars food halls and pools which was good of hotel but not sure if that's tui problem or hotels could be mine for not really thinking about flight times

"Amazing"

10.0

My boyfriend and I had a great time (23 years). We checked in about 11pm and someone was there to greet us and give us the key cards. We stayed on level 10. Personally , I didn’t really have an issue with the lifts. Sometimes you could be waiting for a while or it would stop on lots of floors but it’s not really an issue. Only takes a couple minutes and if you’re impatient you can just take the stairs. We got the preferred club and I personally think it’s worth it. It’s not that much extra and you have a different section of sunbeds and a section in the dining place too. I felt the service from the waiters is more focused for that area. Although the section for sunbeds was great, people who were not part of the preferred club would often use it to despite the signage? sometimes the workers would challenge them but people were too arrogant to move which is annoying. In the preferred club room, you have a mini fridge with coke, fanta, sprite and beer. There is also wines and prosecco in an ice tub. If you’re a fan of bloody mary’s, there’s also a bloody mary station lol. You can get this from the bar but I think it’s nice to be able to grab what you want whenever. Also in the preferred section by the pool, there is a fridge with all the cans in. I found all the staff very polite and nice. The bartenders were always happy and we enjoyed their cocktails. The hotel was very clean and we loved it. Such a lovely view from the balcony! The pool was on the colder side but it was so hot that it was 100% needed. We had no issues with pins for the umbrellas and they were available every time. I LOVED the food. There was such a selection and range of food that I have no idea why some people have complained about lack of variety and repeating dishes? Some dishes repeated (such as basics) but more for breakfast. The rest changed almost daily. I don’t think there was a single day that I didn’t try something new. The Oceana restaurant was so good but a very small selection. I would definitely advise booking it ASAP when you get there to make sure you can attend. The Portofino however was a miss in our opinion. The food wasn’t very good? I got a pizza and it’s weird because the buffet pizza is amazing but some how when they were serving a few tables it was not good and super cheesy. My partners risotto was flavourless and the rice a bit hard. The starter was nice though. But again 100% recommend the Oceana restaurant! People also complained about the coffee queues. Personally, I HIGHLY recommend just asking for a cappuccino at the bar as it tastes so much better and is quicker. We did that every morning and just took it into breakfast with us. I went to the spa and really enjoyed that too. I couldn’t find pictures in other reviews so I’ve included the drinks menu and the spa booklet on my review. We had a great time and would go back if given the chance! Highly recommend.

"Great and relaxing vacation"

10.0

We were on holiday for a week at the end of June with our adult children. A really great hotel with plenty of space and food and drinks. The junior suite had plenty of space and the cleaning was great. I can highly recommend it!

"Very good with some stuff that could be better"

8.0

Good points : location ( right on the beach) , lovely weather ( compared to the Med - which seems to burning up) clean, nice staff, above average food (for an all inclusive) , above average qualitydrinks ( for an all inclusive ) . Neither are top notch though. Adults only ( when we went next door to their sister hotel, where kids are allowed; it reminded us how great this was.! ) The pool is very well designed - one of the best I have seen- and plenty of sun loungers despite the hotel being booked. The Gym is decent. And there is an interesting mix of people. Nice staff ( they found my hat - bless them) Negatives- The smoking. Designated areas mean there is a tinge of smoke to a lot of the outdoor spaces. The pool shuts at 6 but arguably would be nice to use it when it cools down. The location suited us but its not central if you want to go and party. Lifts - adequate bit the system isn't ‘ smart’ …so you can end up taking a while as it stops at floors where no one is waiting any more. Sea food - not sure how much is caught locally and sustainably. It would be good to know. Most species I saw there definitely weren’t local and are unsustainable. Plastics - they must go through a lot of single use plastic each day. They could do so much better.

"Lovely hotel but Preferred Club is a waste of money"

8.0

Overall the hotel was lovely. It is beautifully decorated and very well maintained. It is in a good position at the top end of Sunny Beach - away from the noise and crowds for a peaceful experience, but only a short walk if you want a bit more going on. We paid the upgrade to Preferred Club (PC) which was a complete waste of money. Preferred Club doesn't really give you anything extra. The PC area by the pool isn't monitored so any guests can use it. And the only thing different about the PC area is a handful of cabanas (which were always taken really early in the morning), and a fridge with cold cans/bottles of drinks). The PC lounge was a complete waste of time (nothing additional in there that you couldn't get elsewhere). PC guests can eat for no additional cost in the Seaside Grill on the beach, but it wasn't a good experience. The service was poor and the food was awful. The bar staff were great, very attentive, and there was a good choice of included drinks. There is an extra charge for premium brands. The buffet restaurants were fine for breakfast and lunch. But not to our taste for dinner - we felt that the food was much the same day after day. The Italian A La Carte restaurant was nice (but we could only get booked in to eat in there once). And the Asian restaurant in Dreams next door was ok for a change (but you lose the adults only experience). There is a Seafood restaurant which we didn't try as my husband doesn't eat seafood, and there were no alternative options for him. There are a few small changes the hotel could make to the Preferred Club experience which would greatly improve the experience: - monitor the Preferred Club area by the pool, and provide upgraded loungers with mattresses etc. - overhaul the Preferred Club lounge to include food/drinks not generally available within the hotel - have a dedicated Preferred Club A La Carte restaurant, so PC guests don't have to suffer the dreaded buffet every evening.

"Top hotel for a relaxing holiday"

10.0

The hotel is modern with a large swimming pool, a pool bar and separate areas of the pool and restaurant for preferred guests. The service in 2025 was a little worse than the service in 2024, the hotel had different staff, perhaps not trained in the international Hyatt network. The hotel offers 1 buffet restaurant for breakfast and dinner and 1 buffet restaurant for lunch. Both restaurants offer a large selection of quality European dishes. The hotel also offers La Carte restaurants, they have a limited selection of dishes and there is practically no reason to visit them twice. The exception is the excellent Oceana restaurant, which offers seafood specialties. The hotel offers 5 * services at a high level, only a little worse than the high level of Hyatt, for example in Dubai.

"Not 5 star"

6.0

This is not a 5 star hotel in my opinion. Location is thankfully away from the main area of Sunny Beach in a quiet location with a lively view to Nesebar. Beach is not accessible to those with mobility issues as accessed is by stairs. No beach bar or waiter service on the beach, have. You have to leave the beach & walk back up stairs to access the pool bar. Most uncomfortable sunbeds ever & beach, in the week we were there, was never swept as has broken shells which dig into your feet. Umbrellas with holes in & some with no securing pins to keep them open or broken or pin kept in the table cup holder which were dirty. The Lifeguard on the beach was outstanding. Always on alert especially when children with inflatables were in the sea. Staff in the main dinning room are young & untrained with no supervision. They spent time on their phones or talking to their colleagues when they should have been serving their guests. Every morning had to ask for coffee which came out of a machine & only half a cup & never with a tea spoon. Never in the entire week were we given a clean ashtray when we sat in smoker corner, the beach or on the veranda. The pool bar had nice seating with comfy chairs however cobwebs & stains decorated the glass panels behind. Can of coke are only available in the main restaurant. All the other bars had machine coke which I do not drink. So I soon learnt to take one out of the restaurant in the evening & saw others doing it at breakfast. At a 5 star hotel it should be available at all bars - has been from my experience. There were in my opinion 2 outstanding members of staff. Peter the bar manager - pleasant & smiled & our waitress in the evening at smokers corner/preferred guests(!!). Did not know her name however she had long red hair & came from Ukraine She put all the other waiters to shame. Enthusiast, efficient & smiled when serving you. There is no information book in the room only an app with limited information. We were on a trip which left before the breakfast started. We enquired early in the week how it worked. Advised can order a packed breakfast. Went at 6.05 the night before. Told too late had to be ordered by 6.00. After a discussion they relented but also added can get food from 24 hour cafe. Never seen such a poor inedible offering. Also could not add to it as nothing was in the food cabinet & was being restocking as we walked out for the trip. Our room was spacious, kept clean by Haiti & had amazing views over the amazing pools to Nesebar.

"Honest Review"

8.0

Arrived after midnight - went to the 24 hour bar for coffee told closed - when advised it said 24 hours, the guy lifted up clean coffee pots and said no, but could have alcoholic drink so the sandwiches and 24hr bar was not available after hours of travelling (also last drop off on the coach) Hotel very clean - some staff rude (woman on the lobby bar, got most things wrong and would huff and puff and slam stuff down) Pool bar guys very friendly. Reception not many understood English and just shrugged Says you can use Dreams next door, no information about it in the hotel, no list of entertainment and when asked at reception just a shrug of shoulders. A couple we spoke to went next door but told us only for the restaurant and were not allowed drinks so false advertising if the case. Spa expensive and friend had hair cut !!! Asked if wanted wet or dry they didn't understand so she wet it (most do wet cut) women huffed dried it off quickly and chopped it all unevenly I went into complain to the spar manageress and was told i must write in the review book with room number etc no one got back to us and friend ended up getting scissors from the supermarket to even out herself. Food was plenty of selection only a couple days didn't find stuff we particularly liked but the food is under lamps and always quite cold - One toast (slow) for all guest so always a queue and have to put through about 5 times. Pool is very cold which is strange as the sun is on it all day. You are able to walk out the hotel onto the beach using your card and also about 10 minutes to the strip and about 20 minutes to Flower Street where it gets busier and more expensive - You have to pay between 2 to 4 Lv to use toilets unless in an establishment There is a little train 6Lv each to flower street, if walking be careful as so many kids on scooters going very fast. Shops lots of fake stuff, some ok but not as cheap as Turkey they do not seem to put prices on as apparently people take picture then will try and haggle at another shop. The stalls are rented out each year and one shop owner did tell us most are gypsies. On the street here are two lots of poor birds out in the heat for hours to have photos with and also two stalls with tiny crocodile with mouth all taped up felt sorry for them all. Hotel does not really give an information pack as such other than restaurants etc, no maps of area etc. Taxi - we did get a hotel taxi for 80lv to Nesebar as didnt want to go on the crowed bus. Unfortunately we then paid another 15lv to try the new Nessebar but got in another taxi and retuned straight away as not really much there - missed a lot of what was in Nessebar as no signs or maps that we could find to direct us to various places. Late book out - asked when arrive told to go back 2 days before departure, then told day before departure. Then told come back after 11am then told wait for manager and then told no room available - they should have one room for late check out with 20 minutes slots for people - there are showers in the spar no hair dryer and also some in the toilets in the lobby ( door didnt lock so all valuables were outside and the place just flooded, my water was freezing but hubby said mens was ok LIFTS - 4 all together that go to all floors - many not working whilst we were there or you got in and would stop on every floor with no one being there. Hubby had to wait over 25 minutes for the lift with all our cases when leaving which was frustrating. Showers by the pool - did not work there the whole time we were there ( 2 weeks) which meant everyone getting in the pool with sandy feet from the beach or sun oil on them.
