Hotel Breakwater South Beach

Location, room was comfortable,

Breakfast only starts at 0930

Right in the centre of Ocean Drive across from the beach so ideal location if you want to be in amongst the lively bars and restaurants. Al on the afternoon/ evening desk was very helpful.

It has a dated feel but somehow that adds to the charm of it. It is surrounded by noisy bars so wearing earplugs for a good nights sleep is helpful.

Location was awesome

My toilet stopped working two days into my 3 days stay. I notified the front desk on several occasions of the issue. No help told me to email the owner

The location is fantastic just in front of Miami Beach on an ocean drive.

1. Smelly room - they spray deodorant but didn’t work 2. Toilet flush didn’t work inspite of telling reception. We had a 2 rooms booked , so we manage to use Toilet from one room only.

Dear Breakwater Hotel Management, I am writing to express my deep disappointment regarding my recent stay at your hotel. While the main bed was comfortable, the sofa bed provided in our room was in unacceptable condition. The mattress was completely ruined, sagging into a "U" shape with springs that were painful to sleep on. Furthermore, the mattress made significant noise every time someone moved, and the sofa itself had a foul odor. Despite my multiple requests to your staff for a replacement or assistance, no help was provided. As a result, I had a sleepless night and have since been suffering from back pain. While your hotel may be suitable for couples, it is currently not equipped to accommodate families or groups of more than two people due to the lack of proper sleeping arrangements. I hope you will take this feedback seriously and replace the damaged furniture to ensure future guests do not have the same experience. I look forward to hearing your thoughts on how this matter can be resolved. Regards, Hariom Gupta

Great location, nice welcome and historical hotel.

Amenities need updating. Bed not as comfy and on the small side for a large double.

Es war etwas befremdlich durch mehrere Gebäude zu gehen und in einem Eis Salon per Lift das Zimmer zu erreichen.

The location was great, just steps away from the beach as well as many restaurants and nightlife. The staff were all very kind, attentive and helpful. Plus they also gave discounts at nearby restaurants. Room was. Ice and the bed was comfortable. Would definitely say here again in the future.
