Courtyard By Marriott Vanderbilt-West End

The room was beautiful and we were accommodated early check in with a balcony room with a pool view.

Our valet, Willie, was the best greeting crew you could ask for! Great guy and very kind, friendly and welcoming. Front desk was efficient and quick. The room was not great. First, it was like sleeping in the stands of a drag strip next to a nightclub. The loud music and racing cars was awful (the hotel did provide earplugs and access to sound machines). The pullout bed would not open fully unless you shoved the couch all the way back and angled it away from the nightstand. Shower didn’t drain well and the bathroom faucet was loose. You had hold on to it to adjust the temperature otherwise the whole thing would spin. Just not what we expected for the price.

The hotel was very clean and the staff was very friendly.

Nice place to stay in downtown Nashville but it’s not so close to Broadway that it’s rowdy. The parking garage was a nice feature and they had a refillable water bottle station which was great. All the staff were nice and the room was great! I’d definitely stay at a courtyard Marriott again, we don’t ever stay in hotels so I was very pleasantly surprised

The lighting in the room was difficult to find all the switches for each lamp. The pull out couch mattress was stained terribly and horrible. When you laid on it it’s like all the stuffing was gone out of it and there was just a thin cloth over the coils. The zipper to one of the cushions was torn out so it didn’t stay on. There were fine little hairs in the shower on the shelf. The fridge was dirty also.

Location great next to popular food spot and several bars in Midtown. Comfortable and clean. Repeat customer

The staff was always welcoming and friendly each day. Our room did have something stuck to the ceiling above the window and our room was not cleaned by mid afternoon Saturday, but overall our stay was fine. Very convenient to Vanderbilt, a few restaurants and the Turnip Truck.

I recently had the pleasure of spending a few days at the Courtyard and I couldn't have asked for a better experience. From the moment I arrived Katie was outstanding making me feel welcomed. The check in was seamless, the rooms were very clean. One highlight of my stay was the valet service by Katie. She was not only quick and efficient but courteous and professional.

We haven't stayed at Courtyard in a while and we were not disappointed. Wanda took care of us from checking us in with valet to retrieving our luggage for us to taking care of our car. We really enjoyed the pool and the workout room. The Starbucks coffee and bistro restaurant were the topping on the cake. We will be back for sure.
