First of all, be prepared that they do have a main lodge and 4 different lodges that are located about 1 mile away from the main area. The room was nice and spacious, but there was no coffee maker, nor were there any tea or coffee facilities. Although there was a kitchen, it lacked pots and pans for cooking. AC was not working, Remote control was not working. Everything there is very outdated, and it seems like nobody cares. And one more thing the so-called queen beds are in fact full-size beds.
The property was clean but not well maintained. There was no air conditioning for the entire time I was there, luckily the temperature outside was cool so we just left the windows open the entire time. 3weeks later and I still haven’t seen my security deposit. Roomer around town was that the new owners have let the resort “go to pot” and I can totally believe that.
The place where you check in is not the place where you will stay The photos show you the water park, which I had to pay for separately I asked for a room with a jacuzzi which didn't work.
The water park and all pools were very dirty the slides were green. The room was also not ready at 4 pm for checking. If you can do not wast your money, not even for night.
A place with a lot of potential, but badly managed for the last 20 years. Very outdated with insufficient and stretched staff. Someone needs to take the Bull by the horns and invest the amounts needed, so people actually come, and are able to leave positive comments.
Staff was okay but what we really didn’t like was that the central air conditioning was not functioning properly and they only provided one fan, there was no windows any air flow and we had 4 kids with us. We ask for another room and they said they were booked. So we asked for them to check us out and that we wanted them to do a fully refund, we check out like around 10 pm or 11 pm . This happened the 4th of July this year, I have been calling because I have not received the refund yet and nobody answered the call for me. Very disappointed with the service.
The location was excellent, and the stay and service were also very good. However, the hotel’s condition was quite poor. Many areas looked neglected and seemed to lack proper maintenance. Some parts even appeared abandoned. I will be back great expirience
Indoor water park only open on the weekends. They have a water warning, so do not consume. My room was okay. Clean and the staff was so nice. This location is definitely convenient
Stayed in the lodge by the lake. Room itself is nice but common areas a relatively dated. Pool and hot tub are nice, but no towels, despite multiple calls. For our needs, it property was fine (we didn't spend much time on the property, and I would stay there again because of proximity to lake and convenience.
The accommodations are run down. The door key did not work one night when we got home at 9pm. Had to drive to main building to get a new key. Not a very good experience. Absolutely nothing in the kitchen. Not a plate, glass, fork, knife. I’ve never been to an apt. Style room with absolutely nothing available.
