Four Seasons Resort Maui at Wailea

Service was spectacular from start to finish. Rooms are quite well appointed and laid out - bathroom is very spacious and well appointed. Patio/lanai was furnished nicely too - great for chilling out end of day or with coffee and a snack before you yak your walk for the day. Poolside cabana staff was so very attentive - and they remember your likes and preferences. Denji and Sydney were as attentive and courteous as we’ve seen anywhere. DUO buffet waiters Jordan and Jery and their support team (Paul) felt like they knew us and our food preferences each day. Great conversation without being overbearing. We will be back.

What a beautiful resort!! This is our 2nd time here and the service and resort are such a treat. The views of the oceans are incredible. The pools on the property are wonderful. The restaurants and lobby area are so fun!! I want to come again.

This was our first stay at a Four Seasons, but it certainly won’t be our last! We visited all 4 islands (5 if you count our day trip to Lanai) in 3 weeks and Maui was our last stop. We are so glad we saved the best for last! We stayed in a Mountain View King room that was luxuriously appointed and immaculately clean. We loved that housekeeping would perfectly arrange our belongings and their attention to detail was impeccable. They would leave eyeglass cleaning cloths(complete with a printed scene of the resort on it) if they noticed our glasses laying around and tie up our charging cords with a Four Seasons logo tie wrap. The valet service would leave bottles of water in our cup holders when they would bring us our car for a day trip of exploring the island. We dined at Duo (shout out to our server Cooper), Ferraro’s(shout out to our server Jane), and Spago. Unfortunately we would not recommend Spago. We felt the quality of the food and service was not commensurate with the price. The highlight of our stay was meeting and talking with (on several occasions)Victor Omolo, Rooms Assistant Director. We bonded over our shared love of Africa and his home country. Two opportunities to improve upon an otherwise mostly positive experience…. 1. We were informed of the construction on our tower when we checked in. We understand this is necessary, but nonetheless, it was quite bothersome when we had to be in the room. Luckily most days we were gone the majority of the day. 2. It is difficult to get loungers at the adult pool, although a lot of them seemed to be empty. Guests show up at 7 AM and reserve their chairs and then leave. Supposedly they aren’t allowed to leave them for more than an hour. We were put on a waiting list and it would be several hours before we were able to get chairs some days.

I am not a big resort in Hawaii sort of person, but this was worth every penny and there were a lot of pennies involved

This property exceeded our expectations. We loved the service, pool, and restaurants. The adult pool was gorgeous. We enjoyed the freshly made juice and the afternoon popsicles. The live music at the lobby bar was terrific. We will return!

WOW! what an awesome hotel! so worth it. This is probably one of the best customer service oriented hotels that I have ever stayed at. The service was excellent. - we were there for our Baby Moon, and every single staff knew about it, and made us feel special, from breakfast all the way to dinner. BTW, Spago is a MUST - it's delicious, and the chef and staff are great. We were upgraded to an executive suite, which was very well appointed and very clean and comfortable - I must say that they cleaning crew was great, always arranged everything neatly for us when they tidied up the room. The location of the hotel is great - the beach is super swimmable, and the hotel has their own section with dedicated lounge chairs and towels. We saw turtles eating on the rocks (2 minute swim from the shore) and we also saw many fish and an octopus. It's not a cheap hotel - but worth every penny.
