Never got my refund the water pipe burst and they did not let me check in

I WANT A REFUND!!! BED BUGS AND ROACHES EVERYWHERE!

The Econo Lodge Downtown at 715 W North Temple St, Salt Lake City, UT 84116 is the worst hotel I have ever stayed in. The TV didn't work, there was no internet, the front door was kicked in and broken, the coffee machine was missing parts and didn't work, there was a plastic bag taped over and hanging from the fire detector, the furniture was broken, the toilet wouldn't flush, the room was dirty, and the linens were dirty. I arrived at the hotel late at night and was immediately greeted by the broken front door. I was hesitant to go inside, but I was tired and needed a place to sleep. The lobby was dark and dingy, and the clerk behind the counter was rude and unhelpful. I checked into my room and was immediately disappointed. The room was small and cramped, and the furniture was old and beat up. The bed was uncomfortable, and the sheets were dirty. The TV didn't work, and there was no internet access. Staff are very hardworking and respectful especially with the construction and the surrounding area they handle themselves professionally

This is a disgusting place. As soon as we saw the room, we immediately went to the front to report how gross the room was and canceled our reservation.

This place is absolutely disgusting!!! Do NOT book with this hotel. I had stains on the pillow cases, towels, sticky stains on the floor, a musty smell in the room and burn holes in the sheets. When I addressed this to the staff I received "fresh" towels that were also covered in stains and no new pillow case. The staff are rude and unprofessional, they keep the lobby locked and only communicate through a small hole in the wall. The woman checking us in made us wait so she could conduct a personal call on her phone. I only stayed one night because I could not handle how disgusting the place was and they refused to give me a refund. Thankfully Expedia stepped in and compensated me, however the property has not answered their phone calls or emails. This place should be taken down from Expedia, how embarrassing.

Al units al creepy bad condition, dirty , air conditioner noisy, lights no working poorly, old tvs bad conditions and cable the most cheap nothing good to watch, people i other unit kind of creamy and scary Loock like a zombie land for example this is the cheap here but in la Vegas nevada with the same amount wide better totally the other side of the coin this one and the Wyndham and motel 6 is the same this kind of units like that the must CB argue like 20 dls per night just that bye

They wanted $100 cash regardless of Expedia Prepaid reservations… take it or leave it attitude Worst experience in 30 years of travel

Great staff location is good yes hookers drug dealers but staff at hotel keep that at bay if ur not into it it won't bother u Staff does their best to help even though there is construction all in all it is a great place to stay close to everything and like I said staff r great in past they were rude but time has changed that and it looks like they care about the people staying there
