I had no idea the restaurant here was SO FANTASTIC! Also the hotel is in walking distance to Barton springs which is a big selling point. We were surprised by both!

"Amazing hotel - very cool!"

I really enjoyed my stay at the Carpenter. The service and the food is simply outstanding. I really enjoyed the vibe. My room was huge and it even had a balcony. Honestly you can't fault this place appart from the pool that was cold but it was April so it is understandable. The hotel is walking distance to Barton springs too which is a real bonus!

"A Hidden Gem"

This unique place has it all: conveniently located, lots of amenities, fast elevator, covered parking, on site restaurant/bar, work stations, covered outdoor seating in a beautiful garden and a friendly, helpful staff. We look forward to returning.

Great walking location to Town Lake and Barton Springs. Lots of “Austin vibes” with hotel style and decor. Spotless. Love that the room has a ceiling fan AND a nice cold AC (and white noise maker:). Wish I’d had more time to try restaurant and pool.. coffee was delish!
