"For the cost of this hotel, I would expect much better service"

The plants everywhere on the property were very beautiful and overall this was a pretty place to stay. Front desk employee, Olivia was very kind and welcoming.

Bartender Danny was unkind and not welcoming at all. He treated my husband and I like a nuisance from the second we walked in. He was acting exasperated and overwhelmed even though there was literally no one else in the bar/restaurant at the time. Other restaurant staff were unhelpful as well.

"Dont get a Room near the Dog Kennels!"

Room was facing the Dog Kennel, Barking Dogs kept me up all night and through the morning. I love the property and this was my second stay but the rooms on the far end of the property need better soundproofing.

"Last Minute Booking"

Overall this hotel suited my needs. Due to some flight issues I needed a last-minute hotel, but this room would’ve costed over $750. Luckily, was able to use one of my free night awards with Hyatt to make this free. The hotel suited my needs, but if I did not have the free night award, I would not have stayed here for that price point. The hotel does not have a gym, which is one of the main amenities I look for in a state. The location of it is perfect as it’s right next to the walking trail and too many restaurants nearby. As a globalist, I received free breakfast in the morning in addition to a 1:30 PM late check out. I did not receive a room upgrade at this location.

The staff at the Carpenter Hotel so lovely and friendly! We stayed for a family wedding. The rehearsal dinner, welcome reception and breakfasts were first rate! Food a 10. Service an 11! Accommodations a 10. Anything and everything we needed from ice to another pillow were delivered with haste and charm! Cannot say enough about our time there. Special shout to Mo…serving with a smile charm and grace! To Adam and Olivia at the front desk and Ian behind the bar! Felt like we were staying with friends! Best wedding weekend ever!
