"Hotel with lots of character with great views"

Lovely location, property has lots of character and potential. Enjoyed the pub and food and nearby pub/restaurant great location for walks and Bakewell.

Property is being refurbished and recently purchased, quite a lot of cob/webs spiders and very low water power in shower.

The location

It needs a bit of TLC. It’s in the middle of a renovation, so fair enough. Will definitely go back when it’s finished.

Location. Excellent for walking, friendly staff.

"Friendly, relaxing and comfortable."

The staff were friendly, patient and professional. Food excellent and portions enormous. When I requested a small portion, they obliged and cut the cost of the meal in half.

The weather was atrocious and I stayed for an additional night. Can't blame the hotel for the weather.
