Besides walking into a construction zone my room was great so no complaints

A lot of construction going on. Also when were placed in a room the tv was it working and light fixtures were just falling out of the wall. The staff was a little careless l. It took a maintenance to tell the front desk to change us into another room

The location near the downtown area was good. I ask to see the my room before checking and I was allowed. The room was good cleaned we were there for 2 nights.

Is did not know the hotel I under construction. The entrance/ first floor had no walls and wires exposed. The breakfast is supposed to be included but coffee and to go breakfast in a construction environment, not very inviting. The pool was closed and the room was overpriced for not having access to all the amenities.

Property was under major construction and due to weather we lost power for hours

Room was very nice, however, as stated by others it is a construction zone. The check in clerk was very friendly but the morning clerk didn’t even acknowledge us while we were getting breakfast. She sat at the desk with headphones on and totally ignored us. When I was checking out she walked around putting things away and then finally asked if I needed help, I feel it was pretty obvious and had to ask for a receipt. Also, don’t use the free bus service (dash) from this location. Sat & waited for 30 mins in the bus stop shelter only to have the bus slightly slow down and drive on by.

Under renovation. Thats there excuse. I stayed 2 nights no one came and gave me new towels took my trash out. No gym. Breakfast was horrible and we paid full price. I need a discount a free night or something.

I was in Charleston visiting my Sister who was in ICU at MUSC. I was looking for a hotel in close proximity to the hospital. Comfort Inn was a 15-20 minute walk which allowed me to visit her often. Although they were doing renovations in the lobby, the room was great! I was able to go back and forth to the hospital and get much needed rest when I returned…All for a great MUSC patient rate! I stayed three night and paid the price for one night in other downtown hotels! The staff was great! Housekeeping was great! I highly recommend the Comfort Inn - in fact I already did to my family members.

Rooms have recently been remodeled and are very nice. The beds are on a platform base and slide around a lot but the mattress, pillows and bedding are pretty comfortable. Ac worked well in the room, plenty of storage space for belongings and a mini fridge and microwave. The bathroom was nice and had a decent sized tile shower with sliding glass door. The lobby and elevators were still being worked on, so no floor or wall covering and no ac. It was very hot coming in and on the elevator until we got off on our floor. The current grab and go breakfast is terrible but the coffee is decent. Staff were also great, very helpful and super friendly. I would absolutely recommend staying here and I would have no problem staying again myself. I’m sure the whole building and breakfast will also be a lot better once all the renovations are completed.

Arrived at location -- so much construction material and debris in parking ares, did not recognize main entrance. Finally found door, entered, labby was shambles. Evidently building undergoing renovation. I had made reservation on Choice website. Sadly, there was no mention of the renovation on the Choice website. The desk clerk offered to cancel the reservation, but I knew downtown Charleston hotels were all booked. So we stayed. Room OK, but some light fixtures didn't work (NO bulbs!) Only one chair in room . Toilet tissue too far from toilet to comfortably reach, ond on and on and on... If this room was already renovated, I would hate to see a pre-renovation room! Altogether AWFUL experience! Certainly should have been advised of condition of the property when making reservation! Totally unsatisfactory on the part of Choice and the hotel!
