DoubleTree Suites by Hilton Hotel Cincinnati - Blue Ash

Although a longtime Hilton Honors Member - I booked this stay via Expedia in an effort to save some money on the overall rate/stay. This was my first mistake, as I fully understand that properties have certain blocks of rooms that are used for Third Party Reservations such as Expedia...which are "typically" not the most update and maintained rooms within the property. This has only proven even more true on this stay. Just to delineate a few of the concerns with room 320: Large stains throughout living room carpet. Many electric sockets in lamps are worn out and do not work. Tracking for glass closet doors is so rusty that the doors do not open and close without coming off of the tracking. Shower has moderate amount of mildewed caulking. Various spots where wallpaper is peeled away due to drywall deteriorating behind it. Balcony canopy has only metal framing with no canvas covering for shading/shielding from Sun or Rain. Sleeper Sofa is worse than most/normal sofa beds are generally expected to be. As a long-time Hilton Diamond Member - having stayed in hundreds of Hilton Properties, including many DoubleTree flagships...I am disappointed with our experience here in Blue Ash/Sharonville. I responded to the property’s texts asking how my stay was going (both times they sent it) — only to receive no response, either time. Thanks for hearing me out - as I only share my concerns and experience to assist your property and Hilton in maintaining Hilton’s desired high standards.

Staff did a good job helping us when our reservation through Expedia was completely botched. I was met with a calm, friendly employee who knew what to do to fix the issues caused by Expedia.

The room wasn’t cleaned well. Ants in the bathroom floor, and flying ants in the sleeping area. Very disappointing to say the least!!!

Breakfast was good. Little pricey tho

My toilet wasn't properly working

Smoke detector coming off the wall, toilet low water pressure to flush and refill, cup and paper on the floor, sink faucet different hot and cold fixtures. Need some updates. Staff was friendly

Staff was the best part of the whole stay

Flies in the room, stink bugs all over the room, microwave didn’t work and smelled like a burning smell when plugged in, chairs and much of decor is deteriorated or shows a lot of wear and tear, no blankets for one of the beds, no pillows for one of the beds, claim the pool is heated and open but not the case (this is with calling the hotel and asking prior to visit). I called twice and same answer both times. Very horrible experience and the staff felt horrible about each issue and tried to help the best they could.
