The beds were comfortable

The staff one man was rude I ask for his name he would not give it to me then said his name is bob after 5 minutes of me asking they didn’t clean our room the shower was broken it was horrible

Way overpriced for that place, front door won’t open to the lobby, none of security doors close/lock at night, stained bedding, handles gone from dressers, paid for bfast thru a app, they give me a bill at bfast for $30, on there ads on app says free bfast and the bfast sucked. On the app you can “message the property” as long as u don’t expect a reply, And when u checkout the desk clerk will email your receipt, still waiting.

I was traveling four days with a group for work, and I have to stay with the group and on-site, otherwise I would have left and stayed elsewhere: The shower door didn’t close, so water went everywhere, forcing me to use two towels to clean up. (This is important later.) Only one of the two lamps in the bedroom actually worked, and the one with the non-working light bulb was the only lamp with working outlet (no usb option.) On the last night, the working outlet started to make a “soarking” sound so I stopped using that one and had zero working outlets in the bedroom; the one by the sink worked occasionally… The nightstand leg was broken; I found that out when my cup of water fell off after I reached over to try the lamp one more time. There was a party Friday & Saturday night, and guests were allowed to roam the halls of guests until long after midnight. When I did finally get a moment to relax and turn on the tv, not the night of the weekend parties, only analog channels were available (and we all know those don’t work anymore,) half buttons on the remote didn’t work, so one by one, scrolling through the channels one by one was the only option. There isn’t an ice machine on any floor, and the ice machine in the drink and snack area was out of order, but the woman behind the bar was very nice when I asked for some, and the food from the kitchen was very good. Avoid the scrambled eggs at breakfast though; I don’t know what happened there or if it was just a fluke… There is a sign on the front desk that housekeeping only comes on the 4th day of your stay. I found this out when I went to ask for replacement towels because I had used the towels to clean up the water on the floor, so I went to Walmart and purchased my own wash cloths and towels. The hallways reeked of weed and cigarettes, and 2/3 of the side doors to the building are propped open and/or don’t lock. We arrived to the hotel at 6pm, 11 pm, and 2am, and the doors were still propped open. I didn’t have to use the 3rd side door, so maybe it locks, who knows. The staff was very nice and over the top-friendly, but they also looked exhausted from working in such an environment where I KNOW they get continuous complaints, and rightfully so. There were also constructive bins around the side and back of the hotel; I can only hope they make some major renovations and improvements.

We arrived for a four day stay in a king suite. There were no linens for the pull out sofa and only 2 pillows on the bed. We spoke to the front desk employee who explained there were none left but he would see what he could do. He managed to find us sheets and a blanket that was damp and unusable. There were no more pillows but he told us to come back and ask again the next day. We asked and the two employees we spoke too said they would find them and bring them to our room. When we returned that evening we still did not have any pillows in addition our trash had not been emptied or towels replaced. There was no sign stating that they should be saved or how often housekeeping came. We went back to the desk to ask for towels and the pillows. We were again told there was none, we said ok and said we would just go buy some at Walmart and then he said he would find us some. He did manage to find two more. The next day again the trash wasn’t emptied or towels replaced, we asked the front desk and they told us we wouldn’t receive housekeeping until day 4 and that it was doubletree’s policy unless we requested it. So we did. They did come the next day but only emptied one of the trash cans and still only left 2 towels. It was clear that they were in the middle of a remodel of some of the rooms. There were pieces of painters tape left in our room and the hot and cold water were backwards in the shower.

Outside of property was dirty

Not sure I would rate this a 4 star hotel. The bed was nice and overall it was clean. However, the outlets on the lamps by the bed did not work (no resistance when I put a plug in it) and no outlets on that side of the room. Toilet was leaking all night and when I asked for it to be addressed, it was still leaking on the last night. The pullout couch was not comfortable at all and with is raining the whole time we were there, there was a drip coming from outside my window the whole time. The staff was very friendly and helpful especially the bar/restaurant. All in all an okay place but not worth the money.

On the positive, I slept comfortably. Other than that, the shower took a while to warm up to luke warm. This hotel charges extra for breakfast and even though I paid in advance, they didn't have it on file. Coffee bar wasn't maintained either. To top it off, the automatic opening door got stuck as I dropped off my key to leave. For the price, I'd recommend another hotel. The one across the street is MUCH nicer.

Needed something quick, this was available. Nice place.
