Grand Naniloa Hotel, a Doubletree by Hilton

The room was ok, clean, new....

The cost for this hotel feels way off for what you actually get. The food at the bar was very poor, and the overall look and feel of the property is bland, dry, and overly corporate ,nothing about it feels like Hawaii or special. The WiFi barely worked for half my stay, and when I asked the front desk for help, the response was essentially to shrug and move on event though i explained to them i very much needed WIFI to comeplte a work project, they didnt give me any solutions. Overall, not worth the price and I wouldn’t stay here again.

Tale of two Hotels: First room was ocean view in larger tower. Small room, outdated bathroom and worst was water pipes running along inside of the room's wall that rana and clunked all night long. It was unbearable. Little sleep. Went to desk i n the morning and staff was great about it - switched rooms with an upgrade to an ocean view with balcony. Room larger, beautifully updated and NO NOISE - except for the waves! It was wonderful. Drinks at bars great, small pool, free golf (greens horrible), close to a fun downtown area. It's obvious it's an aging hotel from an infrastructure standpoint but we got it at a reasonable price. Beaches a few miles south on coast good snorkeling, lots of turtles. One very negative is hotel parking. All valet - including the dirt lot across the street. Ridiculous. we did park on the street several nights. Used valet the first night only and got charged two full days of valet. An obvious money grab.

The experience was from HH program a quick fly over to view Kilauea volcano from HNL after hearing 11/25 eruption Hotel in great location quiet and presume even numbered rooms have view of bay very nice with balcony rooms simple table chairs very nice bed- king. Shower 5th floor had some slight lower pressure when room near ran water initially. Single area for elevator but 3 available not walking to the end other side of hotel no elevator. Also ice room on each floor but ice machine did not work on my floor. Walking other floors often saw carpet seems old or unraveled indicating carpet upgrades …. Reason for review is the food reasonable by hawaii standards but very tasty well presented and delicious … i /we would venture again to be on hilo side even over waikuloa kona side

We had a very disappointing stay at the Grand Naniloa Hotel. We found cockroaches in our 5th-floor room, and although the staff said they could spray, it was already 9 PM and we would’ve had to leave the room for several hours, so nothing could be done that night. We also requested every-other-day cleaning, but when we returned at 8 PM on the second day, the room hadn’t been cleaned at all. Someone eventually came just to swap towels and take out the trash. The hotel itself feels very outdated, with stains and worn areas in the room.

Mooi gelegen aan / met zicht op de oceaan en dicht bij luchthaven en centrum van Hilo . Niet zo ver voor een bezoek aan Vulcano National Parc. Heel ruime en propere kamers . Goed restaurant . Vriendelijke , vlotte service . Dagelijks gratis cocktail of biertje in bar of restaurant.

Dure parking (25 dollar per dag).

아침식사가 단품메뉴로 나오고, 먹는 만큼 금액을 내게 됩니다. 맛은 좋았고, 가격은 싸진 않았지만, 그렇다고 비싸지도 않았습니다. 옆의 골프장을 이용하려면, 데스크에 골프장을 이용한다고 말하고, 티켓을 가져가시면 됩니다. 골프장이 많이 좋지는 않지만, 그렇다고 골프를 못 칠 정도는 아닙니다. 오토카트가 2대밖에 없어서, 쓰려면 빨리 가야 합니다.

방 안은 아늑하고, 침대도 편하고 좋았으나, 복도가 낡아보입니다. 바닷가 근처라 부식 정도가 어쩔 수 없지만, 그래도 첫 인상이 막 좋지는 않았습니다. 차는 무조건 발렛을 맏겨야 하는데, (하루 25달러) 저희 차가 안전하게 있다는 점은 좋았으나, 가끔 빨리 나가려고 할 때, 차를 기다리거나 하는 시간이 발생합니다.
