Radisson Blu Hotel, Edinburgh City Centre

This hotel is in the center of the Royal Mile in the center of Edinburgh.

Clean room, easy to access loved it

Very friendly helpful staff. Was on a tour group first night and next 4 nights a personal booking. On arrival they arranged so we could stay in the same room for the visible. Central location 10-20 min to Grassmarket district, train, Hollyrood Palace, Edinburgh castle, and the national museum and Nelson monument park. Nice reasonable bar and lounge, average breakfast buffet, and cheerful concierge arraged airport taxi. Workout room and pool. Meticulous daily housekeeping service, spacious room, and our 3rd floor room was quiet with double windows even overlooking the busy Royal mile.

The concierge was extremely kind and helpful. The check in clerk was also very accommodating.

Great room and location to everything.

We were so looking forward to this hotel stay because it was right in the heart of everything, was castle shaped and it cost almost a weeks salary for one night. The staff were incredibly friendly and helpful, and even helped us park our van in a private lot as it wouldn't fit in the underground parkade. The room was nice, and quite roomy. I maybe expected something more "castle" like or maybe a little bit more upscaled for the price we had paid. I had upgraded our suite to include a king bed, and was taken aback when it came with 2 twins. They informed us that this is standard and that they would combine them together for us. I had mentioned that the beds were quite slanted (tilted backwards when sat on), I was assured that the combining and the mattress topper would solve that. It did not, haha. Made for an "interesting" sleep and getting out of in the morning. Overall, its a nice hotel with some great staff in an incredible location, but the price tag did not match for what was provided.

A solid choice for a visit to Edinburgh. Close to all the sights and great restaurants. Helpful staff. Quality accommodations.

Spacious room clean and bright with a great view excellent gym and the hotel is centrally located

My husband and I stayed in the Premium room which was large and bright -had a huge and very comfy bed, sofa and bath. The room was facing front on the Royal Mile, however, noise was not a problem as the window had double glazing. Most conveniently the double glazing has a sliding action which enabled us to open the actual window if we fancied airing the room at night. Very well thought out. The breakfast was great and the staff very helpful and friendly. Highly recommend!
