New York-New York Hotel & Casino

New York hotel casino has been one of my favorites hotels in las Vegas. My last visit in December disappointed me with the changes they made. Specially the no drinks if you are not playing the maximum bet at the machine. I argued with the bartender as I was complying with the rule but my machine was still showing red( no drink). It has become more expensive to visit but the service and experience does not match the additional expense. No wonder Vegas is losing customers.

Staff was wonderful from the front desk to housekeeping to maintenance. Hotel was very well staffed. While walking through casino area, so often an employee would ask if they could assist us with where we were going. Good setup outside for accessing taxi and Uber service. Love the fact that lengthy walks are not necessary to access the eating establishments and shops; though you can have a long walk to your room once you access assigned floor. Selfishly, we love the fact that New York New York is basically adjacent to T-Mobile Arena (hockey fans here!) This was our fourth stay at this property and definitely the most impressive; hotel has been renovated since our most recent 2024 stay. We have walked through many of the other Vegas Strip hotels, and while we recognize that many of the other properties are more lush, fancier and exclusive, New York New York is just very comfortable and easy to navigate. Close to airport. New York New York has become our Las Vegas home!

The location is not a prime strip location. For the price it's a nice deal. Room and spaces were clean no issues. The rollercoaster was a nice addition. Kinda of pricey for 1 ride but I recommend it as something to do.

If you want to spend a lot of money to stay in a hotel that is not much better than a Hotel 6; then stay at New York, New York. While the casino is great, the room lacks a coffee maker, drawers for storing clothing, and is not well maintained- holes in the blackout curtains and a thick layer of dust in the tub.

Location and atmosphere is great. People are friendly and rooms are clean! Food options does not disappoint! Gallagher steak house is a great steak restaurant and the service is excellent!

Great location. Convenient to many restaurants. Rooms are nice. Hard to get a cocktail while gambling. Gym is ok except no bathroom

We got our room upgraded to a strip view and it did not disappoint! The check in and check out was seamless and while it was a little sad that the personal experience was removed by electronic kiosks, it made it super easy and seamless to get checked in amd out.

I’d steer clear of this hotel. While every hotel in Vegas up charges for most things, this hotel does it far more. $1 upcharge for a cup of tap water, $10 to receive a package, $45/day for WiFi, and more. The service was poor, and I was charged twice at checkout. The issues still hasn’t been fixed. I strongly regret staying here

Great rooms, great price, great comps thru MGM Rewards. America Cafe & Chin Chin both offer terrific breakfast. Gallagher's is the best steakhouse on the Strip & we know b/c we've eaten at all of them.

Great restaurants, especially Gallagher's. Rooms are reasonably priced. Casual atmosphere with lots of slot machines to choose from.
