Rydges Lakeland Resort Queenstown

Really loved the location close to town, staff were friendly and helpful. Room and view from 4th floor was delightful! Great place to stay and would recommend it to anyone staying in Queenstown!

Well decorated common areas but ageing rooms. Bed was sinking and too much street noise when on ground floor. TV did not work. Was not fixed for entire stay despite assurances. Suffered injury after being hit on the face by car park boom gate which doesn’t have a sensor.

It looks run down and cost a lot for very average conditions on the lake which was nice. About 750 meters from downtown

Stayed on the ground level apartments. Great location but the rooms are very average to be nice. No air conditioning (that works or from this decade). Amenities really poor and bathroom terrible. Great location but if I had my time again I’d book another hotel.

Attended a conference. Venue was a nightmare. Conference room not wheelchair accessible (how is this still legal?). Catering was disgraceful. Staff untrained, lacked direction, and in one instance, just plain rude and surly. Avoid if possible.

Standard room was more basic, on the 6th floor by restaurant, very loud hallway music, which was loud even in the room, only one power point in the room, would not book this room again, shame as other rooms and stays have been good.

The rooms are not sound proof at all, we could hear conversations next door so clearly. Not great for a relaxing stay or sleep

Construction on site where I paid $25 a day for parking and didn't feel comfortable parking my Porsche there. My toilet was used in my room while we were out and the smell when we returned was unbearable. I do understand that people need to go when they need to go but not in a room that has guests in. Not acceptable

I feel the room was poor standed, No aircon No exbelair fan. Sorry for the money, not sure if we would be back to stay there ??
