Ryokan Tamura

宿に滞在中、騒音もなく静かに過ごせて快適でした。

スタッフの接客がいまいちでした。笑顔がほとんどありませんでした。

This was the perfect hotel for our first traditional ryokan experience. The hotel is small, only 7 rooms of the 14 are sold per night, giving you a private room to dine. Food was plentiful and delicious, although we stayed 2 nights we ate something different each time. Great location within walking distance to all must visit spots. As the ryokan is quiet the private onsens are often vacant, or no one else in the gendered onsens so is basically a private experience.

Wifi was slow but we had unlimited data with our eSIM so that didn't bother us too much.

Location not far from Ubatake but very difficult to walk, esp with seniors

Private baths are always available. Meals are served in in a private room with good privacy and on time. Location next to foot bath and another public bath. walking distance to bus station. Overall decent value in Kusatsu.

Posizione comoda vicino alla stazione dei pullman e alla piazza centrale. I gestori sono molto gentili e disponibili. La struttura ci è piaciuta molto, sia le camere che gli onsen tradizionali ed accoglienti. Unico punto, se avete valigie grosse farete fatica ad aprirle nella camera doppia: non volevamo sporcare il tatami quindi abbiamo fatto tutto nella piccola entrata della camera. Cena e colazione tradizionali hanno dei gusti particolari per noi occidentali, ma a noi sono piaciuti entrambi.
